For those that took up 4 new policies with OnePath, are you also applying for policies through ANZ Life to potentially maximise the earning of bonus points?

I suppose what's one extra policy between friends. Works out well as I did the sums yesterday and I was about 10k short of my redemption target anyway.

Application process and premium was identical to the OnePath one, just the banner across the top changed.

They are the same company (well technically, I think ANZ owns OnePath). In any case, ANZ do not issue life insurance policies, they just distribute them on behalf of OnePath.

I'll be curious to hear if you get a call from OnePath, as earlier posters here have, clarifying that you already have a policy and asking if the second policy was an error.

Has anybody received any regular points yet? I have my 4 policies, all of which had the QFF number entered, and i'm yet to see any points (whilst the charges are definitely hitting my Amex). Don't suppose any bonus points for anyone have come thru yet either?

I had some regular points come through two weeks ago but nothing since, very haphazard but that is not surprising given the experiences being reported in this thread with their business systems.

None for me yet.

(First Amex payment 18/2.)

Excellent. My first was 27 Jan and nothing for me either (note in calendar to cancel end of March but don't want to cancel until the 10k have come through or i'll end up fighting for it I feel).

I applied for online access to my account – first attempt returned a “policy number doesn’t match”; second attempt “unable to locate policy” and third attempt resulted in online access but “no active policies” on logging in.

This despite my having emailed them a copy of my policy schedule :!:

Not impressed :(

same. two of my four appear there now and I have contacted them several times about it. all they say is "there is a problem with your policies appearing online".

i originally only applied for one policy and have had the points per dollar come through, all 8 points of them only once in Feb. Applied for the other 3 types of policies the other week and have been charged but nothing flowing across to qantas points as yet.

have not received the bonus 10,000 on any of the policies as yet

I have paid 2 months of premiums for all 4 policies but have not received a single point yet.

I took out one then 3 further about a week later... I have had one credit of 9 points from onepath, although i have had multiple (at least 4-5) charges on my credit card...

and weren't the points meant to come through after 4 months or so?? so i think we will be waiting a while yet to find out if we get 10k or 40k or somehere in between and how simple or hard it will be to claim them...

I received the first lot of points on FEB14 from a transaction date of FEB11, so am expecting similar this month, very soon in fact, though maybe not today.

I haven’t yet signed up for the additional policies, and may or may not do so soon, if I can ever get in the frame of mind to do so.

i think i signed up for my first policy about mid January (17th or so) so it must be coming up to the time to start cancelling these if the points was all people were after... has anyone else started doing it?

My OnePath account was set up over the weekend and works fine when I tried it this afternoon, my first policy showed up fine, however… I’ve just bought an extra 2 policies to complete the deal and can’t work out how I add them to my existing account, whether logged in or not. Anyone added multiple policies to their OnePath account?

My first policy suggests the second premium was paid today, so I shall hopefully get the QF points soon and then it’s the decision on when to cancel… do I need to pay 2 or 3 premiums? I recall talk earlier on of a 3 month/3 premium wait.

I rang them to change my address the other day and while I had them clarified a few things. In regards to the policies showing up online, only 2 of the 4 available can show up online. I ended up just getting all of my policy numbers and start dates to write down so I know where to cancel. Seemed easier.

I also asked about the 2 month bonus rule, they said any policy cancelled after 2 months would still have the points credited, but it may take up to 4 months I think they said. Pretty terrible turn around time. On a side note, I only just got my first 8 points from my policy opened Jan 17th.

just had my 3 other policies points per dollar post today 10, 9 and 8 points each - so at least that distinguishes the 3 separate policies i guess - i took these out a few weeks ago
