This promotion is looking more and more like a typical AMEX promo everyday, no wonder OnePath/Amex dont sponsor football, the goal posts dont move enough!

Have to say I've been surprised they haven't moved to shut this one down earlier actually, but suspect it's only now there would be starting to see a few cancellations so maybe understanding that "Houston, we have a problem" may only have started over last few weeks.

Yeah might be time to take out those policies tonight, just wanted to leave a little interval since cancelling last week...

Wonder if you would need to take not only a copy of the T&C, but to be on safe side somethign which showed the date to confirm that on the day i took them out this is what the T&C said or whether they would be honest enough to own up to what the date was they changed, or whether there are copies held in cache etc somewhere about what the T&C said on a certain date?

Just applied for 2 more in my wifes name today.

Acording to the T&C's as they stand they need to either a) give 30 days notice to existing members of T&C changes or b) publish in major newpaper. Haven't recived a) and would have thought hard for them to lie about b) given it become public info when published in a newspaper (i.e. you can go to a library and read the newpapr from that day) but always better to be safe than sorry. Not really sure how you can prove you printed T&C on a particular date though.

Could have a a photo of screen with a newspaper or something would be about the only way... But too much hassle....

Just cancelled my policies.
Made 3 payments but haven't had my 10,000 points yet.

Called up the 1800 number but they wanted me to cancel my policies in writing...

Then I called up again on 1300 464 234 which is the sales line and they redirected me to accounts. Was able to cancel over the phone with no additional paper work :)

Will hope and wait to see my points.

I have three policies, 2-3 payments made each, but only points coming through on one of them and no bonus. Tried calling today to get it resolved and the phone person didn't have much idea. First answers were I must have done something wrong and they were right e.g. I can only accrue points from one policy. Ultimately she checked with others and couldn't find any reason to make it my fault, so has referred the matter to 'admin' and they'll 'fix it up.' Let's see how long this takes...

How long does it take for the QFF points on the policy (i.e. ~9 points) to hit the QFF after payment?

This is looking good! I have several policies. One taken up, then the others around 2 weeks later. The first one has posted (as per others) with 10k+regular points. The others, posted to QFF at the same time, just the usual points, no bonus. I'm expecting they'll come out next month.

Cheapest bonus points ever. Time to cancel and re-enroll (hey, that's a new policy!) ;)
Any update on this or are you starting to suspect they have restricted to one policy? Seem to remember you took out a few!!

How many policies did you take up?
My question exactly, while obvious some payments are coming through not so obvious if people have been succesful getting payments for either multiple policies (different types) or additionally if any luck with multiple policies of the same type.

If you read back a few pages, there were several of us that received 20,000+ points for having multiple policies.

sorry, should have been more clear.

i just had the one policy.

Ah thanks, only went back 2 pages. Most of the examples given show two slightly different payments which implies to me two policies of DIFFERENT types, anyone had any luck with multiple policies of the same type (i.e. multiple life or multiple accident cover).

I think anyone who has taken out two policies of the same type at the same time have been called by Onepath about whether they have made a mistake etc... so not sure too many people have tried to take out say 12 policies with 3 lots of the same 4 policies....

The first test was to see whether they would pay out more than one lot of 10k points if you took out multiple different policies, as it has come to the point where the holding period of two to three months is ending on the first lot of multiple policies (and multiple points pay outs seem to be occurring) it will probably take another 2-3 months to see if those who are reapplying for the same policies (after cancelling the first lot) will also get a second lot of points for them...

Agree but confident that some have, been called by Onepath and said they meant to do this (at least 1 poster said they had done so and Onepath had told them they could have multiple policies) so possibly have had multi 10K payments made (or not) already.

Thanks for the 1300 number. I have cancelled my policy which had the 10k post, now waiting for the next lot (I had all my points come through in one day last month, with the bonus points on the one policy showing and the other policies with just the normal points; the other policies were taken out well after the original, so here's hoping the others post next in next months points).

Has anyone tried to re-apply for the same cover after the written confirmation has come through to get the points? I could be quite happy taking advantage of this amex-esque promo :)
