Half the cab drivers in Melbourne, wouldn't even have a clue where Mt Alexander Road is!

I am more than happy for people if they wish to meet at my office which is 7 mins from the airport and I may be able to assist with some transport depending on Mr Mella

Half!! You are too generous ma'am.

A kind offer from you BTW.

FWIW, those with a Myki can get in for $3.30. (3pm bus to Essendon RS)

Hi Ya'll

Saturday night dinner...

The deposits that were paid have been forwarded quite some time ago to the restaurant. On the night, everyone who attends will be required to pay the outstanding. Please ensure you have enough cash with you to pay this prior to the meal as it will be collected as a group and paid as a group. If anyone wants to pay the lot on a CC for the points, just let me know and you can have the cash and look after final payment to the restaurant.

The bar will be a cash bar, so you can make your own arrangements to run a tab or just PAYB (pay as you booze)

I hope that clarifies things

:)

How much was the balance left to pay, oz_mark if you are serious then you have PM.

Deposit was $50, so $49 pp remaining.
...

The components of the dishes may change before Christmas and fresh product will determine some items - the menu will be updated in December, but other than that, no changes. The meal cost is $99.00 per person.
...

On the last few trips down south, a cab to HSW has been ~$45 and private cars a flat $60 - $70 depending who you talk to. Split into a few, this is cheaper and faster than bus..?

Not sure where you're getting your rates! Unless things have changed slightly, or I keep getting rather incompetent taxi drivers, but a ride from airport to HSW cost me at least $60 last time.

Heck, you can't get Brisbane CBD to BNE airport for less than $50 or so; if it's cheaper in Melbourne that's a riot...

I depends on the route - If they use Flemington Rd and Wujerredi way $45 is quite possible. Most driver will use the Bolte Bridge thereby adding another 3 K to the Journey.

IIRC taking the bridge also has a higher CityLink toll.

The short way is fine in times of non-peak traffic.
