@juddles I 100% agree with your post. Most of these posters will never get to redeem a single J flight without having P1 or WP status, just my thoughts.
I am a lowly bronze and have flown reward J a few times and will be flying F this year. Very hard to get status when work is not paying for all of my flights....

I have no status but Mrs Woodyren and I have flown flown Copenhagen to Beijing on Finnair J last year and are now flying Brisbane San Francisco on Fiji Airlines J this year. All with Qantas points and none accumulated from flying. Sure things can be scarce but there is useful availability for us out there.

Slightly OT question.

If a phone is locked to Vodafone in Australia does anyone know if it will work for Vodafone Fiji?

I wasn't under the impression the phone was locked to Vodafone only? Not that I'm planning to use it, but would be annoying if I gave it away and then the recipient found they had to use Vodafone.

I'd definitely be removing the blocking. If blocked, I doubt it would work on Voda Fiji.

I dont believe the phones are network locked, at least since 2013 ...

Unlock your device from our network.

Depending on when you purchased your device, it may be locked to the Vodafone network. There's no fee for unlocking a device purchased with a plan.

If you purchased your device before 1 August 2013, it may be network locked.

If you purchased your device after 1 August 2013, it won't be network locked.

My 40,000 points arrived and my dad is now using the phone that I purchased, not the cheap version a mid range Oppo, and it wasn't network locked.

So a query on the final bill.

I have rung Vodafone and cancelled after I received my points but I haven't actually received a final bill?

What have been others experiences?

Vodaphone inform me I would receive final bill on the 15th which is my billing cycle date.

I read all that but when I put another sim in I get a locked message.

No obvious pins seem to work.

Any other ideas are appreciated.
