50SC on offer with BP

Mine arrived. Will disappear end October so fairly useless.
Completely useless for me. Arrived in August and disappeared on 1 September. Nothing carried over.

Why I bothered I have no idea. At least all the fuel was used!

If you were eligible for SC rollover they should have rolled over. Reports upthread that this has not occurred.

Was it earlier confirmed that the BP SCs also go to LT tally, even if not carried over for whatever reason? I know that wasn’t in T&Cs, but hey…

I plan to send through a complaint based on the T&Cs saying they would post 6-8 weeks after the 5th transaction. I am unlikely to requal gold next year either way, but I think its not in keeping with expectations.

I don't understand why they won't roll over though. There was nothing in the T&Cs that said they won't. Can't you rely on this?

You should be able to rely on the T&Cs but the comments upthread about SCs being awarded and immediately expired with no rollover suggest you can’t rely on QF IT…

My 50 arrived yesterday and were deleted straight away. I won't requal this year so only wanted them to add to LTG, which thankfully they have.

Sadly I wasn't able to take part in this offer as I'm in Europe and I didn't think BP would be willing to send me some fuel by mail order :)

I have had a similar experience with the rollover though in that I had some flights which were taken in the last few days of my membership year but didn't post until a few days later in the new membership year. They had already applied the rollover before these posted so it meant they immediately expired and haven't been rolled over.

They would clearly be eligible to be rolled over, but I just don't think Qantas IT is good enough to pick it up. As I'm eligible for the status extension anyway I didn't think it was worth chasing up.

For anyone whose BP status credits haven't rolled over and who would benefit from them doing so I definitely think it would be worth chasing up. I suspect it is just a IT issue in the way they have processed the rollover in one go immediately after they year end date.

Two main issues:
- I don't think I technically qualify for SC rollover, based on when I qualified for gold status in fast track (I have never had a status expiry date in 2020 or 2021)
- if they count in last year - not this year - they won't roll over again if I receive PC+ next year

I am hoping to be surprised by an IT error in my favour, but am not expecting it to be the case.

Well, it seems there might have been some benefit after all, even though the 50 SC's didn't roll over for me.

It nudged up my lifetime SC's to 7,001, so I'm assuming that I'm now LTS, though Qantas hasn't confirmed this.

edit; Just re-checked my account, 50sc credited today and then taken away ( as membership year ended 31st July)
Have spoken to QFF and they're looking into it, I couldnt see anything in the T & Cs that state, your first transaction is what the SCs credit date would be.
I didn't participate but my friend did and he was also in exactly the same situation. So I suggested he contact QF and this was the response he received:
