No, it didn’t say anything about LTWP! 🤣

From what I’m seeing here, I won’t bother trying to complete this offer (my status year ended July and I’m already LTG…).

If/when this outcome lands, I'll probably complain to BP and see if there's more luck via that route than complaining via Qantas.
It's like booking an entire itinerary and then all of the status credits landing on the date of the first flight, when the T&Cs state that the credits won't arrive until 6-8 weeks after the end of the itinerary.

Given the lockdowns in NSW and closed borders, I've hardly been anywhere and have found I've used very little fuel. Given there are only 4 days to go I won't make the 5 x $50 unless I buy stuff other than fuel.

I would have hoped that BP would extend this offer as there must be others in a similar situation. Oh well, at least I've saved a few $ despite the prices BP charge.

Missed a phone call from Qantas this morning, but checked my account, and 50sc credited.
Thanks I'll advise my friend to call QF again to reinstate his in the new membership year...

That reply is typical Qantas gobbledegook and doesn't even address the issue that SC's including BP are eligble for roll over.

"Which Status Credits count towards the rollover?
Status credits earned through flying or with our partners on the ground will count towards the rollover. Status Credits provided by Qantas as a bonus, support or gift will not count towards the rollover."

The (native) language barrier of their overseas employees is constantly causing these issues (before anyone screams racism, this is a statement of FACT and not a critisism of anyone's ethnicity) and I am in the middle of a similiar missing (flight) SC issue that bordered my anniversary date. The agent simply doesn't understand what I am trying to explain and diverted off on a tangent involving my lifetime status.....it's infuriating.

In that case, my friend's status credits from BP should roll over to his new membership year then? He is reluctant to call QF again (too hard)...

I've been in touch with Qantas about several of the issues people have been reporting with this offer.

I can confirm that Qantas has made some changes so that status credits will now be credited according to the activity date of the fifth qualifying BP transaction, not the first one. If your status credits were already posted with a qualifying date based on the first transaction, and your membership year ended before you made the final transaction (meaning your status credits were immediately wiped after being credited), Qantas says it will redeposit your status credits.

Qantas has also confirmed that these status credits are eligible to be rolled over. If your status credits have posted after your previous membership year already ended, Qantas will separately roll over your status credits from the BP promotion by the end of November.

Qantas also confirmed that the bonus status credits from the BP promo count towards lifetime status, although many of you have found this to be the case already. I do note that the original offer T&Cs said “Bonus Status Credits will not contribute towards any Platinum or Platinum One Bonus Rewards, Loyalty Bonuses, Lifetime status and any Qantas Status Accelerator”. This proves that you can’t always trust the terms & conditions on Qantas promotions!

I hope that clears a few things up.

With the 5km restrictions, the last transaction was more coffee cans from the shop than fuel for the car, but hopefully got 5x by the 30th. Now, in the wait for the points to arrive!
