View attachment 251788This must be brand new, the link "Find out more" mention nothing yet at this stage, maybe more tomorrow.

The return of ground status credits is I guess a good news in this current situation. With all the border closure and almost no international flight, Qantas will have to offer another extension or status support later this year, so it make sense to give away some ground SC.
I have no doubt that QANTAS will "do the right thing" they have been very good to date and I see no reason that they will not continue to stand by their clients. The issue here I believe is not QANTAS, it's BP, this set-up and not just the Promotion is a "Cluster Flop", try changing your email address! Well you can't. The build of the entire platform is flawed, it's not on the QANTAS end, I've played through the ping-pong game and it's all BP, the BP platform and app is kludged and very poor unlike their fuel, pity. And just to make a point, don't drop IT in the puddle here, IT manage a computer environment, they don't build the application or promotion platform, call it a program, call it an app but do not blame IT for a poorly built application with poor functionality. :)

I got my 85 status points deleted due to "membership year". But most of my status was obtained this year?

Don't they last 12 months?

BP promo status points also didn't post

That exactly what happened to me, they credit 50 status credits one day, and on the same day, they had removed 50 status credits as expired. I did call customer service first time, was told it will take 2 days to fix it, then waited another week and nothing happened. So I called again and this time the consultant claimed that he cannot see that removal on my account at all????. It seems like some of those people are just not interested in solving the issue, just want to palm you off by telling you they can see all the other entries, but not the one in question. Eventually I had to send them a screenshot of my account, and now I am waiting again for reply.

Status credits expire at the end of your membership year. Then you start again for the new membership year.

when do QF issue the 50 bonus SCs? I complete the promotion on 30 Sep, points for the 5th purchase was posted the next day, but no sight of the SCs yet.
TIA

The promo started on 1 Jul so it appears your 5th transaction was around mid September? The terms state:

Bonus Status Credits could take up to 8 weeks to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

Once 8 weeks have passed since your 5th transaction, email [email protected].

Australia's highest-earning Velocity Frequent Flyer credit card: Offer expires: 21 Jan 2025
- Earn 60,000 bonus Velocity Points
- Get unlimited Virgin Australia Lounge access
- Enjoy a complimentary return Virgin Australia domestic flight each year

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Mine came through today with a same-day expiry. Will email QFF now and try my luck. My 5th spend was the 30th of September, which was also the last day of my membership year.

Mine posted overnight as well. Last transaction date was 11/9. At this stage they are howling as posted not showing yet as expired.
