50SC on offer with BP

My QF membership date is 31/7, so I had deliberately timed this promo to credit in my new membership year. I will be very annoyed if the SCs don't rollover.
In particular given the standard T&Cs about taking 6-8 weeks to credit. If indeed it is tied to the date of registration or first purchase, I would expect that to have been documented.

Maybe there is a case to make, as it s strange that the first fuel date is the one that count. I suspect the IT intern that implemented it flipped a coin to decide.

I am wondering how was the previous BP status credit offer handled, or the woolworth reward campaign handled. Both those required coughulative actions (I think 10000 wollies reward for 50sc and 1000 BP reward for 10 sc but dont remember exaxtly) to trigger the SC, wondering if the date of first or last action was used for the effective sc date.

During last year's BP bonus 10SC for joining and Woolies promo 10SC awarded as earned:

The last BP SC promo I did was 10 SCs and 100 points for joining BP rewards. In my case I joined 4 May 2020 and the points and SCs credited 5 May. The WoW SCs were pegged to everyday rewards conversions and credited to every conversion. I got 2x QF hotels SCs, which credited months after, were separately credited and pegged to the stay date.

So none were multiple activity over time.

Oh yes, indeed the woolworth event is the convertion time.

Last year BP offer had up to 40 SC on offer, each time when earning 1000 QFF points via BP, that's in addition to the 10SC for joining. That's the offer I was referring too.

I have a new "Earn up to 10x Qantas Points on Fuel" promo, and a couple of $50 fills to go for the 50SC.
I haven't activated the "Earn up to 10x" promo, as I don't want to upset the apple cart with the 5x $50 for 50 SC promo.
Does anyone know or have any evidence as to whether I should hold off on activating the Earn up to 10x Promo?
Thanks

When I activated and did the first of my 50SC fills, it was also the last of the 2x,3x,5x fills. The fill counted to both.

It’s funny - I thought I wouldn’t be able to secure 5x $50 spends but given fuel prices are high … it’s not too hard.
2x car fill ups
1x large and 1x small Jerry can for the mower etc
BBQ LPG bottle swap plus a few snacks (yes more expensive than Bunnings but never mine)

I only need one more $50 purchase and I’m done.

Good news as of today...BP status credits have been recredited. So if:

1. Your membership year resets before BP credits credited, and,
2. BP status credits are posted then expire instantly, and,
3. You didn't max out the status credit rollover in the first place, then,

They will count to your new year, but may have to call up to get them re-credited
(or is it re-re-credited by now?!?).

This is great. I am now just wondering if I'll be eligible for a rollover. I only achieved gold recently with the fast track promotion so haven't had a status end date this year. Will wait and see!

Just did my last 'fill' (another half tank!) for the BP promo today... unfortunately, prices are right up there at the moment, so it was a bit rich, but a few bonuses came with it, I guess. For $74.75, I got:
  • 39.57L of RON98 @ $1.89L
  • 78 QFF points + 702 bonus points (10x promo)
  • 50 SCs (on the way)
  • 1,000 Points Club bonus points (on the way)
Cheers,
Matt.

My 5th fill was on 2 Aug, still no SC yet but I guess they did say 6-8 weeks

Same as mine, but this shows in my account now,

Im guessing the 2-September is meant to be the BP 50scs

The 15sc was the Covid bonus,

I think that’s the retroactive application of the COVID status credits to your lifetime tally. At least, that’s what mine seemed to be.

Yep Qantas changed the T&C’s to allow these status credits to go towards LTS so this line item looks like the adjustment that was made for everyone who applied for those SC’s before it was changed last week.

The BP status credits have “BP” in the description.

I just noticed that this morning, that my lifetime tally went up by 15 SCs. Only 6 to go to LTG.

So my membership year expired 31 Jul, 3 fills for the 50SC were in July, one in August and one last week (covid lockdown has save me money on petrol at least!). Sounds like they will count for my previous membership year...... which is just ridiculous. I only rolled over 100SC's as a gold, so might have call them also when they credit. I did have DSC's for NZ planned also....
