A bit of humour

This was a good letter to the SMH the other day:

"I await with anticipation the announcement from Joe Hockey that the Higgs boson particle would have been found earlier under a Coalition government."

An elderly couple visit their doctor,as the husband isn't well. The doctor takes a history, followed by a thorough physical examination. Despite this he remains mystified.
"I'm sorry, Mr Smith, but I'm really not sure what is going on here", he says, "I think we need to run a few tests. Could you provide me with a stool sample, some urine and some cough?"
The old fellow, rather deaf, turns to his wife and asks "Sorry dear, what did he say?"
"I think he wants your underpants..."

So ths t-shirt seen in Istanbul today would have been suitable attire for the groom?

Yes, i've seen similar in offices too, something about influx of people from countries where squat toilets are the norm.

We used to call the top left pose 'kangarooing' at the residential college where I lived while at UWA many years ago. It was evident who would have likely done it but we didn't have clear symbolic signs like this to address the issue. Written signs saying 'No kangarooing' wouldn't help :(.

Woolworths HQ Norwest, Sydney have a massive problem with some of their facilities - the IT floor is the worst:shock:

At one place I worked at, one of the other floors had this problem. There was only one person who might have been doing it. They had training sessions and everyone was informed of the proper usage. But the toilet seats still kept getting broken.

Hmm...what training?

Not being involved myself. I assume each of the work groups on the floor had a 30 minute session on "this is a toilet, you sit on it!". I think HR might have also had discussions with the individual. A few assumptions in the story as my knowledge is based on office gossip.

And yes I am ignoring the funny side of your question, as it's been mentioned already.

SeatBackForward, I had to laugh when my wife showed up with a dishwashing towel with your Avatar. She thought I was being rude, until I explained (and showed her your posts). :D
