Accor Plus Membership Discussion

“Enhancements“ coming in 2024..?

I guess if they are a bit more integrated, then we might be able to stack the current Ibis Biz and A+ benefits into something with both regional and global benefits?

Renewal offer has just come through. Trying to understand what a bonus of $500 of discovery dollars will get me if I sign up for Accor plus discovery? It refers to wine or tours etc. anyone have any insight? I’d happily purchase wine if that was an option

Anyone had any luck booking a suite upgrade with Sofitel noosa? It says it's a participating hotel on the accor website, but every date I put in says there are no hotels in this area that have SNUs. Even random midweek dates.

Probably high demand with the Sunshine Coast being in its high season so they are not selling it.

The rebranding into ALL Plus was announced last March, and has been mentioned in other threads.

Not sure why Loyalty Lobby just discovered it now. Here's the original press release. https://press.accor.com/with-all-pl...frequent-traveler-subscription-cards/?lang=en

I steered clear of it,,

This is a further enhancement that will roll Accor+ (Asia/Pacific) into ALL Plus. No details on what that means / looks like.
That statement was in the March press release. There is no further information.

Yes, true and they’ve quoted the same presser! I’d not clocked that.

Maybe they were teasing Accor to fess up on what’s coming - if anything?

Has anyone successfully negotiated a price refund/reduction when a room rate has dropped?
We booked a trip for Fiji next year on a non-refundable rate and I’ve noticed the same room is now $1000 cheaper.
It’s probably unlikely but not sure if either Accor or the hotel are likely to entertain a rate change?

It's generally up to the hotel, but I haven't heard of a rate reduction, but I know of people that got some extras (dinner vouchers and such) from the hotel.

Accor Plus keep calling me. I refuse to answer as they irritate me. I’m only 4 months into my first membership year. Anyone else getting calls; is something exciting happening? 🤓

Cheers,
Matt.

They seem to call every 6 months to remind you of the benefits and try to get you to gift member for a day certificates so they have new people to harass. They are always on script and dont seem to be able to deviate when you say you are aware you havent redeemed your free night and no you dont want to dine out in Paramatta (no where near me), and no i dont want to give friends details so you can spam them.

Nothing exciting happening @dairyfloss just trying to get referrals (3 instead of 5 promo) and flogging secondary membership - again!
