Accor Plus Membership Discussion

I have a question regarding booking a brand new Accor hotel (prior to its opening) for travel start of Feb in Japan.

Hotel in question: Hotel Sosei Sapporo MGallery (Opening January 2024)

Is this a good idea? Never booked a hotel prior to its opening, considering it's only slightly more expensive than the Mercure (Snow Festival prices) would obviously prefer to stay in a Mgallery vs Mercure. Can see that the old hotel that the Mgallery is replacing was decently rated on tripadvisor.

Am Accor Plus and Platinum so would be hoping to take advantage of the lounge (if it is open). Any thoughts or experiences from a similar circumstance would be welcome!
I have found no problems. However sometimes like in BNE the opening is delayed.
A tip with the new hotels is to go and click on bonus points for new hotel promotion and book through that link. Usually 4 X points per stay

Like you, I also have a January anniversary date.

I renewed just now.

The 20 bonus nights did not post instantly. I'll report back if and when it does.
As a data point, I renewed on 5 Dec and had my 20 bonus nights post today. The original expiry of my membership was end of Jan next year.

I renewed on 1 Dec and also got my 20 bonus nights today. I was beginning to lose hope but I am now planning a 5 night mattress run this month to reach Platinum. I hope it is worth it.

Renewal offer has just come through. Trying to understand what a bonus of $500 of discovery dollars will get me if I sign up for Accor plus discovery? It refers to wine or tours etc. anyone have any insight? I’d happily purchase wine if that was an option
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I bought it purely out of curiosity, assuming it was a cough deal, so that I could write about it here. I haven't yet found the time to write it up comprehensively. If you don't like cruises or $10k per person package tours, you'll find fairly minimal value in it (the wine deal is, at least until 12 January 2024, a 15% off coupon code for buying 6 or more bottles from Wine Selectors). If you do like cruises and expensive package tours, I have no idea how to value their "buy one get one half off" deals and such against other sources of discount cruises, because I personally have zero interest.

With NAB Credit Card now partnering with ALL which gives you Gold status after just one stay, what happens if you also have Accor Plus which now gives you 20 nights per membership year?

Does anyone know if this means if you have both a NAB Credit Card and Accor Plus you'll only need an additional 10 nights to reach Platinum?

I don't see how. You need 60 nights for Platinum.
Accor Plus gives you 20. Nab gives you zero.
You still need to earn 40.

The nab card may upgrade you to Gold but it doesn't add status nights to your tally.

Many of us can confirm, the QF Gold adds nothing to the 20 days under Accor Plus.

Stayed at Movenpick Melbourne a couple of days ago, nice hotel. Stay posted today with a total of 19 qualifying points...I'd laugh if it wasn't for the panic (as I was 58 short of Platinum, started considering spending Christmas in a nearby Mercure).

Quick email to A+, not expecting a reply until Wednesday, around 21:30 AEDT. 23:30, all sorted and now back to Platinum, in the nick of time. Very impressed with the response time. Still curious as to how Movenpick calculated that I'd spent the equivalent of EUR7.60 (nothing on the invoice is close to that, even after adjusting for tax, etc.), but not curious enough to investigate any further.

Happy Xmas all! I shall now go to sleep, safe in the knowledge I'm ALL W@nker (Platinum) once more.

“ALL” good on my end. Recommend jumping on the phone with them to try and sort it out.

Some weird stuff going on with the Accor Plus member offers.

I clicked through from the offer email while logged OUT and this was the offer. Note the price.

But when I log in and before selecting any dates the price jumps to this:

Then when I input dates, I get a wide range of prices from the mid $400's upwards.

Question if I may please:

Staying at Sebel tonight booked and pre paid through Q hotels.
If I charge parking and dinner to my room, will I get ALL rewards points? They have my # on file or am I better to just pay when dining with my linked Mastercard?

This will also be the same scenario for Koh Samui in September.
Thanks

How can you get the gold status with Nab?
