Accor Plus Membership Discussion

I have qualified for Gold according to the QF promotion earlier in the year. However, my digital A-ALL card remains silver. I emailed Accor weeks ago, but no reply has been received. This seems the norm for Accor/QF promotions!

Did you get your nights credited? If so it should update instantly. If not then you'll have to talk to their support and get the nights manually.

Hi all, I am attempting to navigate the A+ situation and perks, is the idea that A+ is better than All Accor Gold? Or do the two combine?
I’m planning a family trip to Fiji in 2025 and we will stay at the Sofitel for most of the trip. Will the signup fee for A+ be worth the return?

I just stayed at the Mercure Clermont Ferrand for two night on a group booking. (No stays will be recoded, nor points). However I did receive my drinks voucher, which I swapped for a glass of red wine.
It is good when this happens @Port Power
Same for us in Koh Samui - booked through Qantas Hotels as it was considerably cheaper but given welcome drink vouchers.

Assuming you have not stayed at all this calendar year, then the 20 nights from AccorPlus will put you in Silver ALL. If you happen to stay 10 nights during this calendar year, then you can reach Gold ;).

Not sure your situation, but some did sign up for a Fast Track back in May/June that offered up to 30 status nights. So they would be potentially 10 nights away from Platinum. But its hard to find a similar fast track offer available to register for right now.
I was fortunate to receive that mentioned fast track and I'm now Gold ALL. Is it worth joining A+ to essentially fast track to Platinum? I will get the additional 10 nights on my own stays. Thanks.

Just came across this ad.

My nights are all correctly in my account, including a two night stay during the promotional period. I have 29 nights currently, so with another night in November I will make Gold anyway. But that’s not the point!

ALL – Accor Live Limitless – Benefits and status is what the extra status brings (mainly extra points, and free breakfast/exec lounge access in Asia Pacific properties).

There's also 30% off memberships at the moment (until 29/9), Red Hot Rooms can be worth it (I paid for my membership twice over from the savings from a forthcoming stay at the Hanoi Metropole) and you get a free night if you go for the middle tier or more.

Finally, if you turn off autorenewal and then renew Accor Plus in December 2025, you'll keep platinum status until December 2026 (what I'm planning to do).

I'm trying to understand the time frame (because I might copy it):

You get platinum status in 2024 by a combination of real nights and the Accor Plus nights. In 2025 you therefore have platinum status. Normally the status would last until 31st of December 2025. You renew Accor Plus in Dec 2025, so your status will stretch for one more year until the aniversary of the renewal, because for Accor Plus members the length of the status is calculated by the renewal date
.
Did I get this right?

Until the end of 2026 because per cl 2.7(d) of the terms of Accor Plus:

Accor Plus members are assessed differently from members of ALL – Accor Live Limitless, Accor’s global lifestyle loyalty programme, for Status tiers assessment. Accor Plus Status tier assessment is based on the following rules:
At the time of your Accor Plus membership renewal, the Status tier will be assessed based on the Eligible Status Nights or Status points earned during one of the two periods:
1. The current calendar year
2. The previous calendar year
The highest number of eligible nights stayed or Status points earned during one of these two periods, will determine your new Status.
It then extends to the end of the month of your subscription.

Thanks for the help all, I joined A+ today and once my bonus nights come in I will only be a few nights from reaching Platinum. Looking forward to the little extra perks on my travels. Small things make a big difference when travelling solo for work too.
My A+ states it expires end of September 2025.

Well done - and make sure you get to Platinum this year, so you don't have to try again until 2026 :)

Cheers,
Matt.

One more question, does the Stay Plus night count towards the night tally for the membership year? Or does it only count rooms that have been paid for?

One more question, does the Stay Plus night count towards the night tally for the membership year? Or does it only count rooms that have been paid for?
It counts so long as you have some other charge on the folio at check out - buy a coffee or a meal and charge it to the room. If it's a zero on the folio, it's a zero on your nights tally.

Charge something to your room on the stay plus night (i.e. a drink) and it will count.

I'm assuming it's okay, because you can use a dining discount at hotels even if you're not staying there, but would there be any issue using my non-A+ account to use as the hotel charge account and then my partners A+ account to pay for the dining at the same hotel, to take advantage of the discount?

This next trip will activate my fast track offer so i don't want to buy A+ myself beforehand, as it would push me to gold first.

No problem at all. The room doesn't be in the A+ name.

I wish I’d checked out this forum before blindly signing up to stuff - I really don’t know how to maximise this stuff.

I was on QFF fast track to Gold. Needed two nights and had them booked. Prior to said two nights I was seduced by the Accor Plus offer for Accor 4,000 points. Which ended up being confusing as it added 30 nights fast track but I still wasn’t gold.

Stayed my two nights and got Gold immediately. Says I am Accor plus gold until 31/8/2025. My opportunity to move to platinum however (requiring a further 28 night which won’t happen) expires 31/12/24.

So what happens between Dec 24 and August 25? Do the room nights go to zero on 1 Jan? I think I just need to make the most of what I have between now and Aug. I can tick over silver easily but can’t do gold without the fast track/accelerators.

Any tips or hints on how to maximise where I am at?

Many thanks
