Staying at Sofitel Brisbane using free night.
Last night (Sunday) got 50% off dining in restaurant.
Prepaid yesterday for buffet breakfast at check-in so got 50% off - a saving of $70 ($54 + 2 x 15% public holiday surcharges).
End of Feb renewal for my Accor+
It has proven to be very valuable with significant discounts across the year.

Dinner tonight at an Accor venue for which I used the Accor Plus dining benefit.

Dinner for two adults (so 50% off) plus a kids meal ($14, no discount).

Total before A+ $161 (inc kids meal).

Final price $75. 🤷‍♂️

No complaints, but a real head scratcher.
On Australia Day @Captain Halliday ? Good one, thought it wouldn't apply as it is a public holiday- of sorts 🇻🇬

As per post by @jase05 above, the discount was available yesterday because it was not a public holiday.

Today (Monday) is the public holiday.

Interestingly, there’s a sign at the bar this morning saying NO Accor Plus, but it also says NO drink vouchers.

Unclear if this means the welcome drink vouchers or some other type of vouchers.
