On Australia Day @Captain Halliday ? Good one, thought it wouldn't apply as it is a public holiday- of sortsDinner tonight at an Accor venue for which I used the Accor Plus dining benefit.
Dinner for two adults (so 50% off) plus a kids meal ($14, no discount).
Total before A+ $161 (inc kids meal).
Final price $75.
No complaints, but a real head scratcher.
As per post by @jase05 above, the discount was available yesterday because it was not a public holiday. On Australia Day @Captain Halliday ? Good one, thought it wouldn't apply as it is a public holiday- of sorts
Very disappointing. That's not consistent with the spirit of how it works. The Novotel in Wollongong's restaurant, Palisades, no longer gives the Accor 50% dining discount to people not staying at the hotel.
Which is disappointing.
IMO, yes.Hello experts , we have stays booked in Japan for around 11 nights in Apr 2025 and I am currently A+ Gold. Will there be any additional benefit/perks if I were to subscribe to Accor Signature program ; it will definitely help me reach platinum for next year but checking if the annual subscription costing nearly 1900$ will give me any significant benefit when staying at any of the accor properties as A+ gold. I want to make sure sure that the dollars we spend are going to be break even in form of perks/discount.
Appreciate your tip/suggestions.

Are you talking about Accor?Has anyone got a screenshot of what can be had for $500 Discovery Dollars? Only tours or cruises, for what I understand. What sort of tours cost $500? Are there short cruises 2 – 3 days in length too?

What I really mean is, if the annual cost of membership is currently about $450, then the membership cost is essentially free, right?
Moreover, are there limitations to what you can spend the $500 Discovery Dollars on (i.e. minimum spend)?
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I bought it purely out of curiosity, assuming it was a cough deal, so that I could write about it here. I haven't yet found the time to write it up comprehensively. If you don't like cruises or $10k per person package tours, you'll find fairly minimal value in it (the wine deal is, at least until 12 January 2024, a 15% off coupon code for buying 6 or more bottles from Wine Selectors). If you do like cruises and expensive package tours, I have no idea how to value their "buy one get one half off" deals and such against other sources of discount cruises, because I personally have zero interest.
Just a quick update for anyone who's interested.
TLDR: Accor Discovery can potentially be great value for cruises.
When you search cruises on the Accor Discovery offers website, for each cabin category you'll see "Retail Price", "Member Price" and "Savings". The latter being the maximum Discovery dollars you can apply to the booking. The Discovery membership comes with $500, but you can top-up at 2-1.
However, it also comes with a Buy One get One Half Off certificate you can use once per year. Most cruises seem to be eligible for this (even when not stated on website) and it can result in a significant saving. For example I quoted a 2 person cabin (no added packages) on a cruise retailing for $10,840 on Princess.com (and others), but the price from Accor Discovery for same cabin is $8,135 using that certificate. Quite a handy saving.
A couple of caveats: You have to call and go through their agency (I usually prefer booking direct). And as a result - a $275pp agency fee if you have to cancel. So be sure you want to go
Ok scrap that, very confusing when both GHA use discovery dollars:Are you talking about Accor?
