AccorPlus China

I tried to do Alipay and Fliggy and it refused to verify my payment method so I stuck with WeChat which I’ve used before in HK and China.

Fliggy took me all the way through to payment on my credit card but there was no field where I could log into my Accor account. Next step is to activate the card (after which I can no longer request a refund) so hopefully it is at this point that I log into my Accor account to link the card. I'm waiting on confirmation from customer service before I activate.
Success - finally! After waiting a couple of days and not hearing back from Customer Service, I went back into the Fliggy app to contemplate applying for a refund. Using another translation app, I found my way to the Accor store and saw that my ALL membership number had been auto added. I guess it was linked through email. I managed to find the activation link and within a few minutes, the nights had dropped in my ALL account and Platinum status achieved before 31 December.

Anybody using the Alipay app have issues with getting the phone number accepted when trying to enter the details for the Happy Edition 5? Tried a few different formats without success.
I entered my mobile number using the international format of dropping the zero after the country code which returned an error. Once I added the zero back, it was accepted.

Great to hear!!!

I signed up using the WeChat mini program and logged in/linked my Accor account before buying and activating the ALL China membership, but the status nights didn't come through. I messaged the customer service rep through WeChat (that was interesting), and they're adamant I've got the nights applied. It will take time for the app/ALL website to reflect the new status.

I did it a couple of days ago on another account and it came through very quickly I’d say probably less than 5 mins and the status was updated immediately as well.

The weird thing is, ALL China and Accor themselves say they can see the 60 nights and confirmed I am now platinum, but the app/website isn't syncing. Accor says they've forced a sync (whatever that means) and should see an update in 24-48 hours. I'm not holding my breath.

Hi, looking to join this as booked a trip to China and Hong Kong , would there be anyone willing to,check to see if the hotels we looking to stay come up with the free nights or 50% off deal ? Would be a shame to join and then not able to use the discount rooms. Thanks

Mondrian HK doesn't show up at all on Wechat FYI. And the free nights are mainly for Novotel Citygate and MGallery Silveri, which are super far away from the main HK island, although only 50 mins away by the metro.

I am seeing the Ibis in the city come up as free on some nights.

The Mondrian is relatively new to All. I wouldn’t bother using a free night for either of the Ibis’s, they are often under $100, the Northpoint property is one of my favorites. If I had a free night would use it at the Citygate property, easy enough to get to the CBD if needed, free shuttle from HKIA and lots of local eating/shopping options. Their suites are big, only downside is a very average lounge.

The one I was looking at on the English Accor website signed in as an Accor plus was showing around AU$180 room rate. I originally paid AU$282 for the middle tier All China in July last year and only did so as it ticked me over to Platinum and I knew I’d get more then $282 benefit out of the suite night upgrades, free breakfast and lounge access. Originally when purchasing I had no intentions of using the free night but now it’s looking like my travel might take me through Hong Kong and possibly Beijing so a big bonus to be able to use the free night.
