Dan Murphy's cash back has been increased to 6.15% for a "limited time" with Starthere.

Makes the Billecart deal even more irresistible, but I'm waiting on my next batch of Wish to arrive.

Hope the timing works out or the local RAC will be seeing me again.

Think I need another wine fridge, or more wine drinking friends. The 110 bottle is now full, and I didn't get another Vintec under the promo.

Well, actually I did, but it's for a friend's wedding present. Wonder if they'll miss it...

You do have some new-found friends ;).

Has anyone tried Ricketty Gate wines from the Denmark region of Western Australia?
My son thinks they have the best reds and whites in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.....it came up in dinner conversation tonight. He worked a year in Albany.

I had a party on the weekend and we all drank a lot of Moët Ice.

Everyone enjoyed it. And I somehow completely avoided being hungover.

Did you really? How was it?

I have seen this promoted in SIN over last few months - I tried and tried to buy some Ice ice buckets and the glasses but they kept telling me they were promo items only and not for sale. Still I just could not come at the concept of dropping ice cubes into Champagne - sacrilege!

FTR - still will never forget the China Eastern FA's pouring Taittinger into large polystyrene cups of ice to chill it for 10 mins then pouring it into champs flutes to serve to J pax when they first started flying MEL-PVG - Tait ended up flat as a cough carters hat and they just had no idea - what a scream - what a waste of good champagne!

I really like it. I think of it as more of a summer coughtail than a champagne.

It is sweeter than most champagnes I've tried so goes well with ice and a couple of strawberries.

I've had it at Vegas Pool Parties and on friends boats, perfect for those occasions.

I have quite a few unopened boxes of the Moët white goblets. Apparently I bought the last of the Aussie stock. I'm selling the ones we didn't use on eBay.

I've also seen party packs for sale in the USA with 2 bottles of Moët ice a white bucket and 6 glasses.

How does it compare to the NV? (not really a fan of that TBH)

But then again if it's different styles of the same house, I am a huge fan of Taittinger NV but not of the CDC nor the Millesime... go figure

The La Grand Annee is consistently substantially better IMHO.

But you do expect that from a vintage vs a NV.
