Anyone know much about Champagne Paul Louis Martin Grand Cru Vintage 2007 (claimed 98 pts). DMs are bundling 3 of them with 3 Billiecart Brut NV for $340 as a delivery deal.
Dans have Taittinger for $49 ($47.50 in any six). Not quite the secret deal but not bad.

Awesome achievement and well deserving of a bottle of champers. Pass on my congratsRemember I gave one of the secret deals to my niece for Christmas. (Probably not but I did). Anyway she saved it up for a very special day - last week she found out she's been granted her PhD. Taittinger duly consumed.

I'm hosting a Champagne blind tasting party in a couple of weeks and I'm planning to be cheeky by sneaking in a blanc de blanc from oz or nz. What would you pick?
I'm open to other suggestions
Yes, but why ruin a perfectly good Champagne tasting with a domestic (or neighbourhood) bubbly?
I don't know, just a random thought I suppose? Who knows someone may enjoy it more leaving the rest of the champagnes for those with more discerning palates lol.
Put up a vintage Chandon. That'll separate those with more attuned palates to those without. It's actually not bad.
*Gasp* ComeFlyWithMe have you mellowed with age???

Haha perhaps. Or perhaps I'm just saving for the kitchen and bathroom renovation after recently buying an inner Sydney terrace home and trying to keep the other half happy...
I seem to recall there were no excuses tolerated in the past... I like to think you are mellowing lol
