FWIW - Dan's advertising STOCKTAKE CLEARANCE in Herald-Sun today:

Mumm NV $37.90 6>
Taittinger NV $49.90 6>
Billecart-Salmon $58.70 6>

Firstly, thanks for posting, some great prices there indeed and nice of you to inform us all that are too busy to look ;) however when you add delivery you get pretty close to the current Epiqure prices, which many may prefer for the extra QFF points earn...

Example:
Tatt @ DM ($298.50 + $7 Delivery) = $305.50 per six (earns 458 QFF)
Tatt @ Epiqure $317.94 per six (Earns 953 QFF + Dozen bonuses that may also apply)
Difference in price $12.44
Difference in QFF earn 495 extra using Epiquire

Hence the additional $12.44 spend has a points earning factor of ~2.5 cents per point

As always, YMMV

Cheers

It is possible to buy from DM and use Click and Collect, meaning zero delivery charges (pick up from a store 2hrs after ordering online). If you pay on a WISH card you save 5%, and if you use Starthere (& it decides to work you save another 5.25%), so the DM price can be quite a bit lower.

Taittinger - $49.75 in any 6

Case Price $298.50
Less 5% ($14.93)
Less 5.25% ($15.61)

Optimal case price $267.90, about $50 cheaper than epiqure.
If SH screws you over, you are still only paying $283.58

FF earn depends how you buy the WISH cards. Assuming 1x - 283 points; 1.5x - 425 points; 2x -567 points; 3x -850 points

But yes, as always YMMV...

e.g. If you are sitting on an epiqure account, close to the 6k bonus points and near the end of your member year, then the equation changes somewhat.

Just did a Starthere to Dan Murphys and scored 6 Moet at 34.91 and 6 Veuve at 48.06 off their specials list.

I think I'll go for 6 x tatt & 6 x billie ;)

Now hopefully starthere approves the purchase...

Yes it was 5.25% with Starthere plus 5% with Wish Cards so a 10.25% off specials.
Veuve tends to be about $40 US including tax so that equivalent is about $44 AU so that is pretty reasonable here at $48.

I was going to order yesterday, but then got a bonus 50% promo email from Starthere this morning, so couldn't resist any longer.

Not so good for those "dry July" participants but it is OK to store it.
With price rises due to hit most imported items these prices would be "pre devaluation prices" in my opinion.

I doubt that the product has been "smuggled" but I would have little concern it the product has come via another country where a major buyer has on shipped it to make it "grey".

The Taittinger is up to $56.99, not that great. The Moët and the Veuve appear to be on special, sadly I don't like either :(

Didn't intend to imply there was anything illegal by the grey import. What is of concern though is if it hasn't come in via the official importer, then there is every chance it wasn't shipped from Europe in refrigerated containers. Could have sat on the dock anywhere in the sun and cooked. This kind of thing is quite common unfortunately, hence the question about the importer.
