The store owner was shocked when I told him JL offer it to their pax in F
Finally got the chance to try the Ruinart

Blanc de Blanc is certainly a different experience. You may prefer the R de Ruinart which is more like a traditional champagne blend.
Or the Dom Ruinart - yum!
So many possibilities to try - such hard work to try them!
And find them!
Didn't you sample one at MEL CAN I Uppy? Finally got the chance to try the Ruinart
If you ever buy Ruinart, be careful not to buy a bottle that has been on the shelf out of the box. The clear bottle makes it vulnerable to being lightstruck.

The Ruinart at least is all available on the moet-hennessey-collection website (the R, b de b, rose, and they just stocked the new Dom R). I've been looking for a few of the Clicquot and Moet vintages to try out recently though, and they seem to have all dried up! Even Dan's used to have a bunch of them.
Thanks for the tip Lizzi... Just grabbed a 6 pack including the R de Ruinart
Oh - and M-H-C was on the amex statement credit this month, so I hope you were able to use that too!
(I used mine to pick up, among other things, the R de Ruinart gift box with glasses for my mum for Mother's Day, which she was pretty chuffed with)
