Hello everyone,
Yesterday i had to call up Aeroplan as i could not update my profile and book award tickets.
The agent told me that my account had a security block, due to "security issues".
(She said that maybe i was using the VPN while accessing the account)

Anyway, does anyone know how long before the Compliance team removes the security block ?
The agent said my account should be ok after 30mins. But 2 hours later, my account still has that security block.

Need some advice here: I tried to book with Aeroplan and got the displayed message:

We're sorry, we're not able to process your request at this time. An additional verification is required to your Aeroplan account. Please contact us at 1-800-361-5373 for assistance.

Calling that number , got a message saying it has been disconnected !!! Is this normal and should I call back at other times ? Now is 11:50 AM Western Australia times, Monday morning.

Are you putting the +0011 in front to make an international call? (should be three ‘1s’)

Or if calling from skype, just the +1 will do.

I think the hours of operation are 6am to 8pm, East Cost time. (I always get confused, it might be later, but trying to find the hours of operation is really hard!)

I didn't put 011 in front (only 1) but my mobile showed: "Services De Voyages Aeroplan". Will try with 0011.

Waited a while then dropped out, twice already.
This is a snip I wrote in another thread

be prepared to wait a long time on the call - maybe just send your DL and a utility bill to [email protected] with your Aeroplan number and explain that you can't call them from Australia and is this enough to get your account sorted. They responded within 24 hours for me

You could also just try that email without attaching anything and ask what they need

Good luck
