Good point on the single supplement nonsense. I am not sure I could convince Mrs JT to come so may be in the same boat.*Nah, I agree with you @RooFlyer
I'll be a single unless I can persuade other person.I'd be happy on Princess, Celebrity and for a cruise 3-15 nights, although as a single, I wonder if a 'low single supplement' could be found, in which case it would have to be a short one for me (ie if I'm paying double). Unless, again, its a large ship which the per cabin cost will be lower than a small one.

*See what I did there!
I'd actually really love that! . Super expensive I think?Would a Disney cruise be a consideration?
Prob not if you don't want there to be many kids.

Dear Princess Guest: A Princess World Cruise liner is truly the voyage of a lifetime, filled with unique and special moments that celebrate a global array of sights, spectacles, and tastes. Unfortunately, unpredictable events can affect the exciting itineraries we have created to bring the world to you, and you to the world.
As always, the safety and well-being of our guests and crew is our foremost priority. Our company’s Global Security team, working in close consultation with security experts and government authorities around the world, is actively monitoring the evolving Red Sea regional situation.
Based on the current security environment and future uncertainties in this area of the world, we have made the difficult decision to reroute this cruise to bypass the Red Sea and surrounding region, including transit of the Suez Canal.
As a result, this voyage will no longer visit Asia, the Middle East, or the Mediterranean. Instead, after leaving Sydney we will travel to Perth (Fremantle) then on to South Africa and up the west coast of Africa, exploring one-of-a-kind destinations along the way. From there we will sail to Morocco, Ireland, Northern Europe, and Scandinavia before ending the cruise in Dover, England — 25 days later than scheduled.
Our offer to you
We are offering you the opportunity to sail on this revised 57-day itinerary ending in Dover, England, on Tuesday, 25 June, rather than in Rome, Italy, on Friday, 31 May — at no extra charge for the additional 25 days.
Please complete this form by Friday, 16 February, to advise us whether you wish to continue on with this enhanced sailing or to cancel your booking. If we do not hear from you by that date, you will keep your existing booking, with disembarkation now in Dover on 25 June.
Every cruise line had to do this. Think we might have been the last one safely through.Princess, completely rerouted this cruise and added 25 extra days :
At least Princess didn’t cancel it outright, fortunately.Every cruise line had to do this. Think we might have been the last one safely through.
No from another threadAlbeit not sure it meets the description of world cruise skipping all those Asian destinations.
Assume Virgin cancellation is related to lack of demand at their premium prices (hence all the discounted FF keys).
