AFF Flight Tracker

Not sure if a new glitch or not, but logged in to update recent flights today and the map won't display

<snip>

Any ideas?

Same here; I note the AFF Flight Tracker tab has gone from the site (I have my map bookmarked elsewhere). Looks like Admin is onto it :)

Archipelago, I can also see a blank screen on your Flight Tracker page, but the problem corrects itself somewhat (temporarily, anyway) if I zoom in and then out again.

Flight Tracker is now under the "member services" tab. :)

Thanks for that, appreciate it.

Zooming doesn't fix it for me, I had tried it earlier.

I'm using Chrome, in case it helps the admins. Never had a problem using Chrome previously
I'll try another browser and see what happens.

I really preferred the previous, more obvious placement of the flight tracker tab.
Not a complaint, just feedback.

All the data is currently loading (and the lines showing flights taken to destinations etc). but the actual 'map' images are all showing as file not found, no currently just a plain white background.

Been meaning to note this for ages .. same ... ever since the great 'flood' issue, mine doesn't display the map, but I don't get any 'file not found'.

I thought I remembered some-one posting a cure, but can't see it now. I refresh, zoom etc but no background map.

Just wondering perhaps if it is a cache or cookies issue?
My cache/ & cookies were cleared and I am now back to seeing the map again.

It's working for me in Firefox on Win7.

They are fiddling with it again (the background map) - I am using Window 8.1 IE v11.0 and had the map working fine a few days ago, tonight its a "world of white" with little black X boxes. Flights paths and destinations displaying fine.

Sort of makes you wonder if they can't render a map on the most widespread and numerous bog standard PC installation with Windows 8 and current Internet Explorer, who and what do they test this stuff on?

I find hitting F5 once or twice fixes the problem.

I really must get around to seeing where I have travelled in the world, so I can start pencilling in the empty parts :o

Oh, it's a long weekend :D. I might have added "My Travels" soon

Background map now showing :). I wonder if that's related to the fact that I updated Java this morning. A site I wanted to access refused me, saying Java had to be updated - so I did.

Anyone like to comment whether Java might be related to displaying the map properly?
