I can't seem to replicate the problem you are experiencing. Perhaps you became logged out of AFF as Flight Tracker does display different details depending on whether you are logged in or logged out of AFF.

I sucessfully exported data from my excel spreadsheet into flighttracker but have become aware of some other issues.

I noticed some time ago that if I leave myself logged in to AFF for a while with a Flighttracker window open, when I return to the page the map displayed will still be mine but the flight list won't match. The data will be entirely different. It will look like someone else's flight history entirely.

More recently, I became aware that another user, when viewing my flight tracker, was seeing my map but the wrong list of flight data.
I at first thought I had made an error but I checked and my flight data was entirely accurate.
Is this a common problem?

I trust discussion of this technical issue will remain calm and on topic.

I had the same thing happen once a few months ago. The flight list definitely wasn't mine as it had airports I've never been too. Hasnt happened since.

I experienced the same issue last week:
- Viewed openflights.aff.com.au whilst not logged in, received generic data/map
- Logged in, refresh, same generic data/map being shown
- Shift / refresh, same generic data/map being shown

I didn't go further in clearing the cache as I was short on time. If I access from a logged in machine though, it displays no issue.

I have remember me set so I never log out of AFF.

As for the problem with another member viewing my flights, I can only refer to the screenshots posted in another thread.

That was me who got the 'wrong' data. I clicked on HKG to get the list of flights in/out and took a screenshot, as it appeared relevant to the discussion at hand. When the data was denied, I assumed it was the map that was mis-plotting, as its usually the secondary product of entered data.

Again, I'm can't verify the 'actual' data of the person but the data that comes up when I click HKG now appears to match the map.

Anyone had issues with importing from the regular version of Open Flights.

I have a bunch of flights there.
Some from TripIt import, but many older ones manually imported - OpenFlights.org: Flight logging, mapping, stats and sharing

When I export to CSV and try and re-import it fails for a number of reason
A. Because I have a few "Trip Numbers" - which I can manually delete
B. Because the date seems to screw up mm versus dd


- On my Openflights I have a mix of DJ/ V Australia and Virgin Australia.
- There is a switch somewhere for former names but unsure if it works.

I can not add any new flights in Flight Tracker, there is no "add flight", does anyone know what am I doing wrong?

I've just had no difficulties adding a flight from POM-PMP (to clearly see the line on the map), though am having troubles deleting it, funnily enough

You can access the Flight Tracker by clicking the link at the top of the page, from there you just click "New flight" on the right hand side. Can you describe the problems you're encountering?

Auto correct often causes more problems than it's worth!!

I've just changed your username in the Flight Tracker database, so you now should be able to login to Flight Tracker.
