My background map was down for a couple of days (maybe longer as I don't check that often). Now seems to have been fixed, since yesterday.

Background map now showing :). I wonder if that's related to the fact that I updated Java this morning. A site I wanted to access refused me, saying Java had to be updated - so I did.

Anyone like to comment whether Java might be related to displaying the map properly?

Your map isn't loading for me, checked mine, not showing either again

Checked source using Inspect Element tool in chrome, running from javascript which then loads CSS files
Java script seems to be loading okay, cache issue with the CSS files maybe?

No idea... :(

There's definitely something wrong with the map. Zoomed all the way out it doesn't load anywhere for me, on my own page if I zoom in it starts working, but not on anyone else's. Certainly seems like some sort of caching and/or missing file problem.

Arrrgh. Me too; background maps gone again. I cleared caches, quit IE, went back in, clicked on your map, zoomed; went to my map, zoomed. No background map.

Same in Chrome (still).

I am kinda hoping Admin or someone savvy with this display might either tell us "its definitively your problem, try this or this ..." or "Ah, it is an OpenFlights issue - have to wait till they fix".

I am getting the problem occasionally with Safari. But it is working consistently in Chrome.

Looks to me like it is a problem with the way the open-source mapping product used in OpenFlights renders on some browsers. I'll check with them..

Problems here with Firebox but if I drag the map all the way to the right (ie around the world) I get a working map....

Chrome not working for me still either. I can't be bothered to clear cache though so I'll just put up with it :)

Holding shift & clicking refresh did make all of the tiles load though after 2 goes.

Is there a process to report errors in Flight Tracker? I recently used Vanilla Air, code JW, but that is reported as the code for another airline. In addition, Virgin Australia, which has been VA for many years, is shown as DJ.

I've now finished trawling through all my old receipts and have created a .csv ready to import. The only problem I'm having is with my "flights" to/from TPR. As people may recall it was in fact a bus, however was able to be booked as a full QF itinerary e.g.

Any idea how I should best deal with these?

Seeing this is a "flight tracker" app I'd probably not bother with adding in bus trips.

If you really want to add it in, and by your screen shot above it looks like TPR isn't listed as a valid airport, you can add as a new one.

Go to the FAQ and about half way down is the option:

I did try to add it in but it wouldn't accept it.
