From a climate stats view point, around Oct-Nov would probably be the best for PER. The winter rain would have stopped, and it starts to get a little warmer.

That is correct - and November even more so for Margaret River which is seasonally a few weeks later than PER.
 
No point talking PER just yet......DRW seems to have had a bit of a boost. Looks like it will be down to preferences......and we may even have to wait for the postal votes to be counted!

It's first past the post, but if you can find 9 people to vote for DRW and nothing else... :p

We tried that one year, the result stayed the same and divided a lot of people that we even had to have a second poll.

So no, it's not two party preferred, HTI are a separate party who don't want to work with the other two parties.

PER clearly doesn't have 50% of the vote. ;)

MEL won with 40% for AFF8

HBA won with 46% for AFF7

OOL won with 33% for AFF6

CBR won with 38% for AFF5

SYD won with 47% for AFF3
