Hi all.. just caught up with this thread.. finally back inSydney (home) after 9 months for a few weeks.. would love to catch up on the Saturday activities.. Is the tarmac tour going ahead ? Rest of the weekend is booked unfortunately...

I got a phone call from them this morning confirming my booking (not to mention instructions on getting there). Maybe give them a call 02 8338 8414.

How are people planning to get there? Perhaps there is some scope for cab sharing here

I was thinking that... QF009+1, anat0l and myself will most likely share as we're going from the Hilton.

hmmm...just came across this thread - being a local happy to join in for Sat dinner/drinks and meet you esteemed fellows, if it's not too late. No dramas if it is. And working in the CBD would usually mean I'm on for Fri nights activities except for a work drinks/function at Jackson's that evening.

And for those that are interested the downstairs bar (Marble Bar) in the Hilton and the Arthouse (behind the Hilton) are quite nice decked out bars, without being too noisy.

I am a starter for the Saturday night dinner. Already committed to another event Friday night and all day Saturday finishing at 1700.

So if the Lowenbrau can find another seat for me - I'm in.

If I am too late - better luck for me next time.
