Wow, getting to PER was a nightmare. It normally takes about 1 minute to drive to the set down and pickup zone, took 10 minutes easily tonight. Let's hope once the work is all done it is much better......

Flight looks to be quite full, but seat next to me looks empty for the time being.

I have discovered another problem about being an adult who lives with her retired parents. They have so much spare time my Mum is convinced anyone I meet on the internet is an axe-murderer or planning to kidnap me! I offered to show her the website but she declined.

I'm still coming but ARGH!!!!!!!!! Is this Mum's way of telling me to move out of home?!

Well I am sure he is awake now and awake during the flight but I reckon Dan won't be out drinking tonight after dinner. The tiredness will creep in soon enough.

It's only hours till AFF #3 kick-off but a big thank you to everyone for their input and especially to those who spent alot of their personal time to make it all happen, you know who you are but I'll name a few; munitalP, oz_mark, serfty. Well done guys - it's been alot of work!!

So, a quick status update from on board the good ship JQ30. Much champagne was consumed in the F Lounge - I'm now comfortably ensconsed in my exit row seat with ridiculous amounts of legroom and no one beside me ... The final stragglers have been found and we're about to push back for takeoff!

Don't worry karens, my parents and brother think similarly, plus my wife was the same until she started to meet some of them and understood what benefits we got from the relationships. Now they have all benefitted from my AFF/FT relationships (in particular my parents), so they know better than to question anymore.

Flashware, ever the gentleman - good karma should flow (and I'm sure it was so difficult to guest her in). Nice to see your over on the east-coast.

Sitting here, at lunch, jealous that I can't be there - being a regular convenor of these events over on FT, I know how much fun they are . But the impending birth awaits....this might be our last weekend of freedom for a while.
