I'm actually staying at the Novatel now, I can't remember if I was thinking about the rydges, but just checked my confirmation and def novatel. I'm probably going to hire a car if anyone wants a lift from the airport, just PM me.

I've kind of given up on maintaining the ba97 record for the flights. I think the information people want is in the table.

We're getting a nice critical mass going here - especially Saturday dinner (my estimations to the venues is pretty much on the mark) - so hopefully here's to a good Do!

The bus may very well be swinging past the airport on the way to Pre-dinner drinks on Saturday. I can't make dinner as we have a performance of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" at Spring Hill each Thursday, Friday and Saturday in October. But I expect I may be coming through a little later than Bill's flight arrival.

Now you could have planned it to be pre-show drinks and then all come along to the show!

If I have pre drinks, drinks then I'll be in really good shape for dinner. In fact it would probably be cheaper as I would not need dinner :!:

My folks have got some travel soon and they're making me stay behind a few more days (rather than me travel overseas) to keep an eye on the house until they return.

The result of this is that I should be coming to Saturday's and Sunday's activities / functions now (except for the Sunday golf).

Quick transport Qs. Anyone heading to the airport after the Breakfast Creek lunch that we (x2) can hitch a ride with? - your reward is that I can invite you (x1) into the QF J lounge. Otherwise, we might leave our bags at the Hilton, and head back there after lunch to collect.

We will probably catch a cab from the Hilton for the Sunday lunch (What time does this start? we are non golfers!!) unless someone is passing by the Hilton with a car...

PS for non Brisbanites, are the venues for Friday and Saturday evening walkable from the Hilton? Thanks

I'll be driving from the lunch to the airport, and 3 spare seats currently, I'm on the 17.55pm flight to Melbourne, I have access to the J lounge, so that option is still open to someone else if they need it I can +1 also.

jdlover23, our flights (x2) are at 515pm so if you could give the 2 of us a lift to the airport that will be great, thanks....we will bring our carry on luggage to lunch so we don't have to go back to the hotel...

...and according to my GPS, all venues are walkable from the Hilton with the furthest being 2 km away....a bit of exercise would be needed with all the excesses planned for the w/e:shock:
