It's 15% off at T-14 days before dropping to 10% at T-7 (and another 10% off the lift pass with equipment hire) so I may just do that next week.



Should I get ski hire with you instead?

I've just booked and paid for a 2 day lift pass (it's the last day for the 14 day advance discount)! There is a prompt to purchase the Resort Entry - is this mandatory?

At least the place will be warm when you get there, and I can meet you at the ATS to help carry stuff up to the apartment.

I have a resort entry season pass for the car, resort entry is per car not per person so just ignore that one ,we will be fine

Quite right. There is also Winterhaven across from Yogi's. Both are very good to deal with.

Never been to an AFF event before but there is a first time for everything! Could be interested in this if there is still space. Have already got up to Buller this season but never been to Falls. Have all my own gear (ski's) which could be a problem with travel? What times were the two cars leaving/returning to Melbourne again? I am in the inner north.

Travelislife I am leaving Melbourne Friday 4.30am ish. Picking up AIRwin at the airport and hopefully getting to Falls in time to ski about 9.30 -10ish. I think Jessica Tam is leaving Thursday Night. I can speak for my chariot and say there is no issue with you gear skis etc as I will also be taking mine. I have snow shoes for the horses and a season pass for the chariot resort entry. PM Jessica Tam to see if there is room. I will be travelling back to Melbourne arriving 8 ish Sunday evening. Not sure about Jessica Tam. I'm a newb at these gatherings aswell

Travelislife I am leaving Melbourne Friday 4.30am ish. Picking up AIRwin at the airport and hopefully getting to Falls in time to ski about 9.30 -10ish. I think Jessica Tam is leaving Thursday Night. I can speak for my chariot and say there is no issue with you gear skis etc as I will also be taking mine. I have snow shoes for the horses and a season pass for the chariot resort entry. PM Jessica Tam to see if there is room. I will be travelling back to Melbourne arriving 8 ish Sunday evening. Not sure about Jessica Tam. I'm a newb at these gatherings aswell

I think you have summed it up pretty well.

Travelislife, I am hoping to leave MEL about 2-3pm depending on work commitments, but can be flexible with that (i.e later). I am still not sure whether I will head back to MEL Sunday afternoon or Monday. I too have plenty of room for gear. But remember, the more you bring, the more to carry to the apartment (if you don't want to pay the $$$ for the oversnow that is).

Edit: I will be detouring via Bogong Village for a bit on the way up to collect some 'goodies'.

Christmas in July at Diana Lodge on Saturday night. Cost is $40 for three courses, plus please bring a wrapped $5 gift to exchange with a group of strangers. Drinks from the bar (i.e. no BYO).

I will be going, and they would like numbers sooner rather than later, so please post if you will be joining me.

I have been to Mt Buller for the last two weekends, and let me say, Sunday just past was superb.

I suspect you are in for a real treat with the snow, let's just hope the forecast holds up!
