If you book 14 days in advance I think you can get 10% off lift ticket prices. At least you could last year and I think the same offer is on

My friend has decided not to come over this year after all, so one less on JT001.

As far as lift tickets, I will wait until I am there to decide what the snow is like.

And I have a couple of places near the accommodation where I get 10-15% off ski hire. They are also convenient if you want to have adjustments done.

I have firmly reallocated myself to the "decide on the day" camp for this season.

Yes, you do pay a little bit more, but all you need is for 1 non-skiing day and you are ahead with daily tickets...

I find it best to get gear up there in case there are problems.

My flight arrives at 22:20 but I can try to get on the flight an hour earlier? Let me know otherwise I'll book the coach service. Pick up is from either the ATS Over Snow Terminal or the Falls Creek Country Club. Which one is closer?

I'm driving up Friday early morning. Planning to be on the piste at about 10am so leaving Melbourne at 4.30 to 5 am. If you need a let let me know
By the way ATS and country club are about 50 meters apart

Don't usually leave falls on Sundays till about 3pm if its a good day and about 9 am if it a cough one it about a 4 1/2 hr trip . So unfortunately I cant tell you til nearer the time ( not sure how late you can book the coach transfer) I am assuming you need to check in at 6 ish for the 7pm flight.

You have to walk past the ATS to get to FCCC, so definitely pick up from ATS.

Just saw the ABC snow report - 93cm and 14/16 lifts open.

I was about to ask if you had paid for the hotel.

At least the place will be warm when you get there, and I can meet you at the ATS to help carry stuff up to the apartment.
