Was reading again last night about the Gimli Glider ... and was once again reminded of the importance of clearly defining whether using metic or imperial units of measure :shock: .
And not picked up by several people, including when quoting the SG of the fuel (which is where the miscalculation was)! It was the newest 767 in the AC fleet and the only one using metric fuel measures.oz_mark said:Pounds and Kilograms easily confused....

I am sure there is possibly some theorem in the idea of metric time, but why is an event on a Wednesday referred to as Frezied Friday?
