Topbonus status match

Topbonus are running a status match for non oneworld airlines at the moment.

I just got matched myself, which is great cause my velocity gold is about to expire!

My partner sent off proof of VA and EY Golds on Friday (both from previous status matches) and the match came through on Monday. A very happy person after slipping to QF LT PS after more than a decade of SG or better.

Same here - submitted a match for my wife to her Aegean Gold and that came through in two days , but no word yet on a match to my VA Platinum (submitted at the same time)

I just got matched myself, which is great cause my velocity gold is about to expire!

So do they match Velocity status now??? I tried a few months ago with my WP card, twice (in German and English because I hoped the request goes to different teams/agents), but got knocked back both times by the same agent, quoting "Velocity is not eligible for the status match promotion".

Been downgraded to Gold since, will give it another go.

Yes I got my Velocity gold matched, maybe I was just lucky!

I couldn't get my VA Gold matched but did get my *A Gold matched one week before expiry.

My pack arrived yesterday the same day my TK *A Silver arrived actually. So I think that is about a month from account change to arrival of the card, luggage tags etc

I've sent three 17/06, 25/06 and 26/06 from a different email account. I've got an international flight with Qantas in August and with AA in December, so I want that Oneworld status!

No luck here either as VA Platinum - I'm also in the process of an Alitalia Status Match (see separate thread) and, if that works, will then try to match Air Berlin to Alitalia..........
