Thanks jimmylikesitwetPretty much guaranteed. Assuming no other maintenance they should all be done by mid October at the latest.
And EBQ went into maintenance only four days ahead of EBO, so I suspect one of these two SkyBedI aircraft will go in very shortly.
Methinks that one aircraft will likely be dedicated to QF3/4 SYD-HNL for the rest of August with a few domestic runs on its days off.

Why would it be anything except a refurbished A330-200? Maybe a -300 during peak times.
There has been discussion on this very thread that the refurbished -200's do not have sufficient crew rest facilities for longer flights as they have primarily been configured for domestic operations. Hence why HNL has not seen any refurbished -200's, unlike Jakarta and Singapore which regularly see refurbished -200's.
I suspect it will be much like how JQ operates its 787s to HNL - with two J class seats reserved for crew (the two with the most recline as well)

I'd be placing a large amount of money on a bet that the 300s will be used for HNL. Several reasons, one of which is the number of toilets - no way QF will try to make do with 1 toilet in J on the lengthy flights to and from HNL.
The 200s will be used for domestic and limited short haul international (think CGK and SIN).

The A332s are still in the timetable for PVG with a listed time of 10hrs55mins. Most flights are showing A333 but QF has been mixing these up on the actual day. (I notice for next year when the refurbs are supposedly complete it looks like only 333s are scheduled, but if QF subs out the suites now for old Mk1, why would they be particularly concerned about only one toilet?)
