Also received the email about the down grade.

Also received the email. I have queried it with AMEX, who say according to their resources we still should have Radisson Premium membership. The agent I spoke to said this was the first they have heard of the downgrade and that they will investigate.
I also got an email response from Radisson which just quoted generic tier eligibity according to stays which warranted the downgrade. No mention of Amex partnership!

Needed several "other" options. Sick of paying more for flights and hotels through Amex Travel. Annoyed you can no longer contact via email.
