Amount of Qantas Points in Your Acccount

Am on 31,xx_ now.
Have been with QFF since 1997.
Many collections and usage of points in that time.
Probably would be 150,xx_ if I didn't use what I collect up.

Just under 100k at the moment - later this year I'm going to look into churning credit cards and hopefully I'll have ~150k by the end of the year. Aiming to save up enough for a 280k OW J RTW in the not-too-distant future.

My current position requires little travel - a few domestic segments here and there for training, conferences, etc, and the occasional trip to the LOTFAP - and unfortunately a fairly strict BFOD, Y-only travel policy, even for long-haul, for pretty much everyone below executive-level in all divisions. So I'm expecting most of my earning for the foreseeable future will be credit cards + leisure.

About 655k points for me. I have had some cracker of times burning loads of points over the last few years.

Around 220k at the moment. SWMBO probably only has about 70k. We burned them on a RTW about two years ago and then switched most of our credit cards to KF so it's been a slow accumulation.

Would like to get to 560k for 2 more RTW tickets.

Anyone who has read any of my posts re Qantas would know I am a devout lover of Qantas. But one of the very few areas I really truly fundamentally disagree with their policies is in regard to the cost of FF point redemptions. I believe that points flights should be "free"!

I have quite a few points at the moment. Just don't want to spend the cash that would be required to redeem them!!

That is wrong :/

Always stash to use on J upgrades when overseas or occasionally for award flights, never used for the Q store

Currently just 12,000

Though I've burned 95,000 on international upgrades since January and a further 157,000 on a J award on Cathay LHR - ADL.

Just over 300k QFF with 40k CBA to come. With Mrs Coops1 will have a combined 500k in the next few months. 80% from CC flipping bonus offers, as just household spend. Mainly fly VA, so would rather be earning more VA points but looking forward to a RTW or J to Africa in the future, but only Qf red.

About 1.3 mil between me and Mrs GPH. Set to rise considerably I suspect as we plan on a very frugal 2016 in planned flying.

750,000 at the moment, but intend to burn all of that on F & J redemptions on next years trip.

This time last year I had 25k, right now I have 170k... I'm saving them for I don't know what, perhaps a Long Haul Business Flight or upgrade

About 200k, and Mrsdoctau and I know where we want to use them, but 10.5 months out there are no J seats left :(

Sorry Smit wasn't trying to be offensive. Was just curious do people mainly burn as they go or stash the loot so to speak. :)

Feel free to delete thread mod's if it is deemed in poor taste.

Apologies
Token01

Absolutely no need for an apology. :)

Not a huge accumulator of points, have around 140K ATM, just seem to use them (previously for xASAs - RIP :( - now just for upgrades, though not ruling out straight out premium cabin redemptions in the right circumstances) from time to time.

Close to 1.3 million QFF points. Balance would be much higher with the accounts of mum and dad, my brother and fiancée as those points are also mine.

Need to find time to travel round the world with my fiancée. We nearly have enough for 5 Oneworld awards each.

Burnt around 1m last year on Dom J travel for +1 and I. Just transferred 200k to a family member which leaves me just below 2m now. Don't earn a heap these days as I'm concentrating on Citi points. Am saving my QF points for some OW awards as retirement looms.

750,000. With the demise of ASA's they'll just be classic J or F most likely, with the odd points plus pay to retain WP.
