The invite does say "...and allow me to share some exciting developments for the year ahead.". I wouldn't have thought they'd bring a bunch of their FFers to an event to announce anything other than some genuine improvements / developments... but you never know, this is "we're 'enhancing' your program" QF after all.

I recd the invite today. Weird. I have hardly flown QF in last 12 months. Platinum but still 600SC to requalify. Friend of mine also recd the invite and he is Gold! Both for Melb event. Maybe it's based on points earned. Think I've racked up a few million from some purchases made in last 12 months. Same goes for my friend... Be interesting to see what this is about.

Hi All,

I recieved an invitation to meet with Lesley Grant (Qantas Customer Loyalty CEO) for coughtails on 13Mar13.

Also got the invite. At the moment, am likely to be in Perth, but will wait and see if I come back earlier.

It funny though - QF is trying to find a date to host its frequent travelers, but many of us won't be able to make it for the reason that we're likely to be traveling!

Yep they're being picky. Looks to b recent flight activity that is triggering invite. I've been invited to Perth event but my hubby who is WP but hasn't flown recently is not invited.
