FWIW, Epiquire points post to the QFF account within 24 hours; a day or four before the wine arrives.
Extending the question. Which points are used first then?
Logic to me says the oldest ones but is that actually the case?
Qantas mall takes about 30 days to post

Qantas points themselves do not have an expiry date, only the actual QFF account does. All points in an account expire at the same time, regardless of if they were obtained by flights, credit card, family transfer or whatever, they will all disappear at the end of the 18th consecutive inactive month. Activity for this purpose in anything where new points are earned, or existing points are redeemed, but excludes family transfer where no points are created or used, simply relocated between accounts. That's what I thought. The problem is that somewhere in the family transfer conditions there is a reference which says that the points transferred retain their expiry date even after the transfer. Will they keep this expiry date after I make a redemption. This redemption alters the expiry of the existing points in my account but does it change the expiry of the transferred points.
I wish we still had a Red Roo.
You are barking up the wrong tree.I'd love to know the answer to that question as well. I agree with your answer but I don't have any proof.
If I have an account with 20000 points due to expire in two months and transfer them all to an account with 50000 points due to expire in fourteen months then there will be one account with zero points and the other account with 70000 points due to expire in fourteen months.Points transferred take on the recipient family member's status.
If they have regular "activity" they will not expire.
Good outcome.Wow that was quick! My SIL did 3 different transactions two of which posted immediately.
Booktopia will take a month I think so I helped out from work seeing she works for us part time.
All the points are back in my niece's account this morning.
My SIL is really happy now.
Under the Qantas Points Challenge there was a points earn requirement from two separate sources and I think it was 2500 points to be earned within 6 months of a verbal start date which was the date of the phone call.
It is purely at the option of Qantas to make such an offer seeing the points terms and conditions of 18 months had not been met.
If it happens to you I would think it pays to be pleasant in your phone call.
Thank you Qantas for making this challenge possible.
I suggested that the Vodka stores well in the freezer.
Interesting.Just buy the cheapest thing you can from eBay via Qantas Mal. Quite a lot of things from China for a dollar or two. Inexpensive way to keep your account active.

Interesting.
How long do points take to post using that method?
