kpc who are you supporting to want to go to Adelaide? We upgraded our work Crows tickets just in case they make the grand final. We also have Dockers and West Coast entitlements but I am not confident about these three teams chances getting to a grand final this year.

We don't have to budge a bit - the Crows seemed to have scored two home finals! Tickets purchased this morning. :)

Tell me about it! Have tried ringing them every half hour since 9.30am. Engaged. Their website - still waiting for our etickets!

I'm tempted to fly to Adelaide...;)

I'm an Adelaide boy;)...their next 2 games are in Adelaide, but I agree it is unlikely the Crows will win the GF if they make it that far....but who knows??

Lucky you! I'll have to watch it on TV:(

I think if Hawthorn has a bad day, then anything is possible. And Hawthorn is well known for not always being in the right space.

Hmm trying to work out this finals system and when I might be able to get to a game is tricky.

As a Swans fan I think if they win this week against Adelaide they go into the semi-final (i.e. the match before the Grand Final) two weeks after this weekend's game (21 Sep) - as Semi Final would that be played at a neutral ground or played at the SCG (or possibly ANZ). If they lose I think they go into en elimination final but at home on 14 Sep and then into the semi final the following week and that would be away?

I am just hoping I could score four tickets to take one of my colleagues who is here from the US.

That's a big IF! When Adelaide win, we go straight into a Preliminary Final, again in Adelaide! :)

Honestly, the Crows have been extremely lucky in their draw, and it is like a Steven Bradbury Gold medal. In any other season, there is no way they should have finished second. But, they are there and it isn't as though we had any influence into how that happened, and now, anything could happen.

I just love hearing Eddie's rant about our easy draw. Collingwood have had it good for years (and still do) but this year the Adelaide draw trumped them. Priceless.

I also barrack for any non Victorian team, except Geelong, I quite like Geelong.

Yeah - I had a look at that - just wasn't sure on dates and whether Home really meant home - I have seen some games where the teams are playing at Home at a different stadium...

I think I can see the options now - just have to wonder if there will be any chance to get tickets.

My two sons think the Dockers cannot possibly beat Geelong so being the alternate thinkers we are going to the MCG to see it happen.

Home means home state - not necessarily home stadium - the AFL want to maximise crowd attendance so stadium with biggest capacity will be used.

Ok - so Swans games will be at Homebush - better chance of tickets then.

Secured 4 L2 AFL seats in the AFL members' reserve for Friday night - they went on sale at 9:00am, I was done and dusted 9:03 - by 9:15 I could only see single seats and "allocation exhausted" was showing 9:25am.

I wonder how many AFL members missed out ... I was very surprised they allowed up to 4 guest passes per member. (Then again, a Guest pass was $75 - a member's reservation was $17.)

Big cats supporter here, would be a dream come true to snag another premiership from outside the top 4. If anyone can do it this Geelong team has a chance.

I was trying to work out which big cat team you supported, lions or tigers. But then I realised is was neither.

Is it worth signing up for AFL membership to secure tickets?

Dont think you'll have much luck at this late stage..

Pretty sure there are still MCC visitor tickets if you know a member. ;)

AFL membership really works best for those in Victoria - if you join today it gives access to any remaining seats at the MCG this weekend and any at the MCG next weekend as well as providing silver member rights for 2012 (Swans support get 11 Sydney home games and another 29 at MCG/Etihad Stadium).

There's a $285 joining Fee + around $330pa for "Silver" membership
