No message here. I do use the card regularly though, so not sure it that weighs against me. That's some good earning if they post within the month and you can transfer to VA in November to double dip.

I got the same message on a Platinum card - no indication of where the T&Cs can be found yet.

no only received it on my phone. I have been checking the rewards points statement since 1-11-15 and no bonus points there so I have sent ANZ a secure email to ask them whats happening. I think its legit as it came thru on the same text number as my ANZ app activation code.
I will keep you updated

Just read your post again and noticed the "eligible" part and how T&Cs aren't found yet.

Ok followed up on the secure email. Offer is legit. T+c's are as normal black ie ATO is good and received this with regard to posting of bonus points

We did a follow up with the ANZ Loyalty team and we can advise that the Bonus points for the month are normally allocated in the first week of the next month in one bulk.

Bonus points earned for November will be allocated first week of December

Don't think this bonus scheme applies to every black card holder, as I never got any SMS from ANZ, and clearly I had my mobile number registered with them all the time.

Yep seems to be targeted hence the text. Others have received them in the past but the was no info on wether it was spam, bonus points posting etc so just thought I'd clear it up. I would have liked the bonus before the end of Nov to maximise the VA transfer bonus but it sounds like that will have to wait til next year

hmm..... given what happened to Citi in regards to conversion of KF points, now the ANZ Black card becomes the best in the market?

That is my summation Crowman28.

Although it comes with a $395 kick in the goolies. But it's free for the 1st year, so it might be worth getting this one in the interim, even though the signup bonus is relatively meagre. Even with the reduced earning the fee-free citi signature is still competitive but the 'no points for bpay' is what will drive many away. It appears the ANZ Rewards Black allows bpay points. Anyone know if there are any referral offers?

I'm not holding my breath for anything like a 1:1 Visa/MC card to come on to the market for VA points.

Got a letter from ANZ stating the Rewards Black Visa will only hand out 1.25 reward points for every $1 spent. Not happy at all!

I've had an ANZ FF card since I was 18, and in that time there's been 3 major devaluations through less points earn, less overall benefits & increased annual fees.
Fortunately I don't pay for the card.

I don't think the card is worth having in your wallet post-ATO days.

Correct. The new promo in February (I think) is only $2500 spend. For you given you have got the card under the $7500 spend, you would need to do this to get the rewards points.

$1 Amex 3.00 ANZ points = 1.00 SQ (3ANZ/1SQ) 1.50 VA ( 2ANZ /1 VA) 1.00 AM ( 3ANZ/1 AM)

With twice yearly VA 15% promos its a no brainer to send your ANZ black points off to VA

I know there was one of these VA 15% prmos late last year, does anyone know when the next time it might be offered or is it pretty much random?

I am planning to transfer all my points and shut down this card but I might hang on if there is a bonus soon.
