ANZ Platinum, 50k bonus QFF points after $1500 spend, no annual fee first year

Hubby applied for the black on Monday night, was referred and said that would send an email or phone.

No phone call or email and received cards in the mail today, no I.D. at branch needed.
Nice and quick.
 
Received approval for the Black at 16:59 AEST today after a week of chasing them. I would say this will only be a one year commitment as the customer service has not impressed so far. They were unable to keep to any timeframe they set themselves for action. I do not know how I would feel if I had paid $425 for the experience. Hopefully it is up from here.
 
Just got accepted for the black card.

50K points for free was a no brainer.

Will have to be good for awhile since I took up the NAB 40K offer with Velocity a couple of months ago.
 
I got the second month points but not the 50k even though I have reached it (black card)
 
50k points posted overnight along with 2nd month point sweep.... base qff anz card.

Out of interest for those that have gained their 50K bonus, has anyone gained them for the Plat or Black Cards?

So far, I think it has only been for the Base
 
Points got posted to FF account today on the base card. I'm tempted to close the account and reopen. Considering they were allocated prior to me spending $1500, I suspect their system might have a few more loopholes.
 
Points came through this morning on the Platinum card. Checked earlier in the cycle and showed as earned prior to the full $1500 (1st statement).

I also got the Black and Basic but they aren't showing any of the bonus points .. yet.

On this has anyone who has applied for multiple cards had bonus points show on ANZ net bank for more than one card yet?

Temped to apply again for the platinum card.
 
Applied for ANZ Black this afternoon, initial response was "...further processing is required....", but got another email a minute later "approved". Yeh.
Not an ANZ customer so still need to verify identity before cards are activated I believe. Easy process so far, not expecting any difficulties with the 50k pts and exclusive spend on AmEx only :)
 
50k from standard card has hit my QFF account this weekend.

50k from Black card still not showing in ANZ's online banking, even though $1500 spend has been met.
 
So far nothing but grief from this bunch of clowns. They gave me 25,000 points, not 50,000. They didn't advise the payment was due then slugged me $25 late payment and 20% interest. No response from the on line secure mail in 12 days (SLA is 48 hours). I have written a strongly worded letter demanding they fix all this or I'll be taking them to the Banking Ombudsman. I'll enjoy closing all this lot.

Hi,I applied 8 days ago and not sure where i sit with my application.

I am not an ANZ customer .

I received an almost immediate email saying they could not process it immediately .

Three days late , another email saying further processing is needed BUT they could see I "was eligible for an ANZ Access Advantage account (with Visa Debit)".

I do need a new CC so can I assume that the answer is NO and starting lookig elsewhere.

Has anyone else had this run around.

Get on the phone and push them.......the 50K makes the total PITA process worth the hassle.

If you read upthread, the 25K has been explained as an error on their end and the other 25k will post later.

As for being advised payment is due, maybe you missed the statement they would have sent you? Personally I registered for e-statements and they emailed me as soon as mine was available.

There's no such person in Australia. I assume you mean the Financial Ombudsman or the Credit Ombudsman?

I rang the 180 number once and got the it takes time to process.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Not that I'm aware of. Just ring again tomorrow and ask where it's at.
