I haven't sign up to the anz cards before. Can I do all 3 at the same time??? And get 150000 points??

I haven't checked the current offer. Last offer said you couldn't get the bonus if you held an ANZ rewards or QFF card in the last 6 months so would imply having one, you wouldn't get any points.

I was in a Sydney CBD branch on Friday and was told ANZ would be launching an offer for existing ANZ CC holders to migrate and get the points and no annual fee without having to go through the farce of applying again as "new" customers.

Did say the T&C states we agree to a credit check.

Will report back on how I go tomorrow.

Thanks. I thought they changed the t&c's so that you can't get more than one to get the bonus points 3 times?

Hi Guys, looking at t/c's for QFF card, condition is: 'Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Frequent Flyer, ANZ Frequent Flyer Gold, ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum or ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card within the previous twelve months.

I have an ANZ rewards card (not Frequent Flyer card), so this suggests that I may still be eligible for this as I haven't had a Frequent Flyer card in the last 12 months and I'm not transferring' , but am submitting a new application.

Just wondering what everyone's experience was in the last round of offers when this was tightened up a little (from the first offer). Did anyone have any luck doing just this?

Thanks

Sadly, I received a call from my contact at the branch. Apparently, there isn't a conversion deal on the same basis as for "new" customers. I can either "apply" in the branch as a "new" customer and he'll coordinate to ensure my limit is switched across rather than ANZ needing to re-assess me for a limit. Or, I can switch and they've offered $55 annual fee (to cover rewards program) for the first year and no sign up points.

I'm weighing these both up. Looks like either way I don't need to supply new financials as keeping the same limit. Just a matter whether I feel 26k Velocity points is worth the extra credit check. I've had the card since 2007 and not currently showing on my Veda file. Assuming this will show at some point when comprehensive reporting ramps up.

My cards have been sitting unused for a while until I can stomach having to deal with the ANZ call centre to cancel them, but today I received an email offering a 25% points bonus for the next three months. Did anyone else receive this? I wonder if it was targeted at people who are no longer using their cards or if all customers got it?

I never call them to cancel, I always send a letter.

Got a similar offer from NAB recently.

i haven't received any offers from ANZ, but then again i'm still using the cards (mostly amex) regularly.

As a side question, does anyone have updates on waiving the annual fees with ANZ? Seems like they are really tight on this.
