So phone call last night as above.
Phone call this morning as no email and unable to link to internet banking.
Confirmed activated.
Linked to internet bank while online.
Shop small activated
Called concierge and QF passes now being sent...no flight details required
Shop small and water bill paid!
Don't think I missed anything.

FWIW, the 2x QP passes do not require a QF purchase - just ring the number provided and ask for them to be sent to you.
You may be confusing it with the Westpac Altitude Black - which do require a QF purchase.

There were 2 offers running overlapping each other
One fee-free spend $2500 for the points
One with annual fee and points on 'first spend' (ie no spnd threshold).
Are you sure you used the right link?

^ Not me...I have had this card before and was not such a hassle to get....
It was the ANZ guy that mentioned you had to have a flight booked...I argued and then left it as I figured he was all part of the ........ANZ team!

I twigged my bonus hadn't been credited to my QFF account, so I called up yesterday. Turns out, I only cancelled my last ANZ card in November last year - even though I hadn't used it all of 2015. So I was deemed ineligible for the bonus under the 12 month rule... and worse, I've now held this card thru to December 2016, so can't churn it again till 2018.

ANZ tried to deny me my bonus points as well. They claimed that it had not been 12 months since I had cancelled my account with them.

I had a copy of the letter that I had sent to them telling them to cancel my account. They failed to act on it for 3 weeks and tried to include that 3 week period in the 12 month limit. The date of my letter saved me and got me the bonus points.

Interesting. For me if the terms say 12-months than that's all the justification I need. There's no guarantee the offer will be around next week, much less next month. But each to their own.

Okay on Saturday ANZ transferred points from my AMEX card earn to my QFF account but the VISA card points that included the 75k bonus points (according to my statement) haven't shown up yet.

Last month the AMEX and VISA points showed up at the same. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm thinking of waiting to Monday to see if it resolves itself. If it doesn't who do I speak to ANZ or QFF?

Yep Visa points posted Monday as well. Weird but as long as they posted, I'll keep card for another 1-2 months until a new one, probably NAB, is setup and working.

The no 1st year annual fee seems to have been removed - the first year is now $425

There are two separate offers - the 'Internet Banking Offer' still says 'no annual fee for the first year':

Thanks did not realise that. I don't think I am elgible though as I had a black card which was closed about 15 months ago and the t&c say:

This offer applies only once per eligible customer

Any experiences/thoughts?
