I applied for mine a week ago. After 2 days received an email asking for 2 payslips, sent them the following day. Text message I'd been approved 2 days later, just awaiting the cards in the mail now. So far so good.

I applied for the card this week. Sent the payslips the following day but due to starting a new job in a few weeks (with an increased income) I called up and sent in a copy of my contract. I find speaking to someone on the phone in these circumstances expedited the process. After speaking to an agent on the phone he said he'll keep an eye out for the contract - within an hour I was approved.

That's pretty much exactly what happened to me with the NAB Amex Card. Everything seemed to be going along according to schedule till I sent in my payslips, waited for a week, nothing. Called them up checking on my application to which they said they will check it out and I hung up. 30 minutes later an approval SMS.

Correct. This is being strictly enforced from what I can see.

Awh, this is making me all depressed! I just cancelled my ANZ Rewards card and was looking into this one instead Starting to dig into the world of Qantas points and this would be a great start.

hi all, we got the platinum card which comes with 50k points and made a $3k purchase in first month and paid the card off right away. Just got them statement and I can see QFF points worth 1500 and they transferred to the QFF account however, I cant see the bonus 50k points.

when will these be transferred ? Will they show up on the next statement or not at all?

From my experience, the bonus points post about 6 weeks after the qualifying spend is met (Ts and Cs say up to 3 months)

I got mine on my second statement bill plus bonus 5000 after complaining about incompetent overseas assesors. Far superior to my experience with Wastepac!

I applied in the first week of December, met the minimum spend 3 days later and points hit my account on 19 Jan. Terimah kasih banyak! Account now closed and timer set for 365 days...

Finally my year was up and I applied for this card again but no luck so far. They say they will not accept my 14/15 tax return because it is more than 18 months old. I tried to explain that I only put in my assessment in April every year but no good. They've kept my application open for 90 days until I put in my next return.
Anyone had luck explaining a similar situation to ANZ?

Just give them your accountants contact details and let him sort it out. That's what we had to do. Bloody painful experience

Not sure if you spoke to assessors from their overseas call centre. I found then incomptetent when I applied. If you did, maybe try taking your application number and paperwork into your local branch and speak to a local person.

Yes it does sound complicated, considering they didn't ask for anything when I applied for this card over 12 months ago on a lower salary.

The two emails state:

• Two of your most recent payslips showing year-to-date income. Payslips must not be handwritten and the oldest payslip cannot be more than 60 days old; or
• Your most recent personal tax return and corresponding ATO Notice of Assessment (with Tax File Number removed or hidden), both no more than 18 months old.

Followed by:

• Two of your most recent payslips showing year-to-date income. Payslips must not be handwritten and the oldest payslip cannot be more than 60 days old; or
• Three recent bank statements showing your salary credited to a non-ANZ Financial Institution, with your most recent credit made within 60 days of your application

I don't have the T&C in front of me but I believe the bonus points are credited within three months of meeting the minimum spend (I.e $2500) not three months from opening.

I just applied for the ANZ traveller (last Friday) and received the same emails asking for different evidence. At the end of the application I tried to upload the payslips, but it wouldn't let me so I emailed them in.

The emails requesting info came later - one almost immediately, the other after ~24hs. I didn't send anything further but got a text today asking me to call - they just wanted to ask about my $0- mortgage then advised I was approved.... Strange but has been no extra work. Time to cancel another card

Got my partner to sign up for this card last year. Emailed pay slips and rental income statement the day after. No approve message or call and card arrived a few days after.

75k showed up online a few days after meeting 2.5k spend in the 3rd statement. Qantas club pass arrived pretty fast as well, 3-4 days after making a request.
