How long for points to credit? one month after the statement in which you met the 2.5k spend?

I am thinking of applying for the card. Can I apply if I hold a platinum anz ff card which I’ve nearly paid off? I would appreciate the 75k points. My plan is to fulfill the conditions and cancel.

Nope, you can only go for the Rewards card. Half as many points when converted, so 37500 ff points, a few more with bonus offers. So....Get Rewards card, Cancel FF card, wait 12 months repeat on FF if offer exists.

Hi,

Does anyone know if I would qualify for the 75K points given that I had the ANZ Black card and cancelled it December 2016? My concern is in the T&Cs it says "This offer applies only once per eligible customer." The offer I signed up for about 13 or 14 months ago was a bit different, it was spend $7,500 in 3 months and didn't come with the status credits, but I'd hate to get burnt and take a hit on my credit rating.

Is this the sort of thing you guys call and query ANZ about?

Thanks
Chris

That term normally applies just to a current offering. If its been more than 12 months since you cancelled you will be fine.

I was in an almost identical situation to yours, having cancelled my previous ANZ Black in November 2016, and I re-applied pretty much as soon as my 12 month exclusion period was up. I met the required spend about a week after I got the card, and received the 75,000 points with my second statement. You shouldn't have any issues.

Am I correct in saying the 75 status credit bonus on the ANZ QF Black card is no more? Just 75000k points. Can't see it on the website anymore. I was waiting out my 12 month exclusion period to reapply and seems i have missed out :(.

Any other cards that earn QF status credits?

Disappointing that the 75 status credits bonus has been withdrawn. I'm not aware of any other cards currently offering it but the offer presumably may appear from time to time unless QF has decided not to persist with allowing such offers.

My 12 month waiting period also finished the day after the 75 SC offer ended. Teaches you to not hold cards :(

Will likely apply again in the next few days anyway - 75k points for free is too hard to ignore!

I am in the same situation. Cancelled the previous ANZ Qantas Black in July 2016. Applied for new one in December 2017 - approved - all fine - spent the $2,500 in first statement (which ended mid-December), have not yet received the 75,000 bonus points. Terms and Conditions do say it can take 3 months from eligible spend for the points to post so have to wait and see another 2 months before calling ANZ.

I found it very quick and easy. Very few questions

Yep, echoing above straight forward application and very quick approval. Had to upload payslips, but was easy and all approved within 24 hours, no phone calls etc. Was same for my other half. Wish all banks' application processes were as smooth

Oh how I wish I could see into the future to know if the SCs bonus will come again.... might just re apply anyway... hmmm

So slow for ANZ to process pay slips - taking forever this one!
I went in to a bank on a few days ago to apply, thinking if I rocked up in person with my ID and payslips, it would save an identity check and pay verification down the line.
(As a sad sidenote they said my year since last year was up inside the days of the SC promo).
The lady said almost every CC app she puts through these days is referred, unless for a basic card and a $1k limit. Mine then followed this rule.
Received a voicemail late the next day, and an SMS.
Followed the link in the SMS to upload documents online, then called the number on the line to check if any other info was required (it wasn't).
However this may have taken my application to the front of the queue as an approval SMS came within the hour.
So I'd recommend the online upload and then call the number follow up for documentation to get it processed quickly.
