It might be a stupid question, but how is this calculated? Is it based on cancellation date or the last statement date?

I cancelled over the phone on the 10th of October last year so not sure if I can sign up again.
Cancellation date.

If in doubt contact them to confirm the date you will become re-eligible.

75K points posted within month of spend

Took my flights on the weekend and hit the spend around about the same time. Will report back when SC's and bonus points hit the QFF account.

And wouldn't you know it a couple of hours later the 75 bonus SC came through....

Did you pay for the flights with the ANZ Visa card? I assume you have to for the 75 SCs.

Cancelled card today....offered only 1\2 annual fee....took 15minutes to get a person and 2minutes to cancel.
Why?
Annual fee.
I offered them to hold card for no Annual fee, no dice $15K spent.

The flight that triggered the 75 SCs, had you booked it after activating the ANZ Black card?

Agree. I didn't pay for any flight with this card and received SC 2 days after flying.

You got your 75 SC's after complete RT or just OW trip?

I've had this card 4 months and transferred my points already. Thinking of cancelling this to make space for a new Qantas card. Anyone advise if that would be an issue in any way? Anyone cancel after 4 months?

No problems cancelling as soon as the points post. The sooner you do it the sooner you can start the 12 month exclusion period.
