Do they really hold you to that? I only cancelled my ANZ in December 2016... so it hasn't been a year yet so would that mean I am not eligable until literally 12 months from the cancellation date?

It says 12 months in the t&c's and from what I have read in this thread they definitely do hold you to it.

Re: ANZ QFF Black 75,000 bonus with no annual fee 1st year -only $2500 spend 1st 3 mo

Mrs 2tall4Y rang up yesterday to cancel her card, and was similarly offered 2 QFF points/$ for the next three months - she happily accepted :)
In the course of cancelling this card I was offered a bonus of 2 points p/$ for 3 months on the Visa. Since I don't have any other offers I'm targeting for churn in the near future plus this will give me a 0.75 point p/$ premium vs my westpac black card I'm going to take advantage. Should be worth close to 15k in the period to me but YMMV.

Exactly the same scenario myself. Called up to cancel after the Amex was discontinued and instantly offered 2ppd till the end of the first 12 month period.

Re: ANZ QFF Black 75,000 bonus with no annual fee 1st year -only $2500 spend 1st 3 mo

Is that capped to the first $7,500 spend each month still, with extra spend at 0.5 points?

Personally I wouldn't want to pay another annual fee. The sign up bonus from the new card would be worth more than 2 QFF points/$ for 3 months to me.

2 points/$ up to $7,500 each month, and the 1.5 points/$ after that is what my wife was told.

Her anniversary date isn't tilll January, so we will take advantage of the extra points for the next three months and then cancel before the annual fee is due.

Exactly what I was offered and took, and precisely my plan for the next 3 months.

Nice deal. If I still have this card several months after I got it I'll have to have a think if offered this.

Welcome to AFF! I travelled on my return flight on Monday and bonus SCs were credited into my account on Wednesday...
Hope my bonus SCs credit quickly before I forget about it. I guess they probably do a sweep every few days.

Is there any particular website you have to use when booking your flights to trigger the bonus SCs? I'm asking as the tickets on Skyscanner are much cheaper than on the Qantas site.

Got my bonus SCs a few days after the standard SCs for the flight home posted. I booked directly on qantas.com

My sign up bonus showed up on the second statement (the first one after I met the required spend) and hit my QF FF account. That was quicker than I had expected.

Hi All, I don't see any issues with going after this promo whilst holding the ANZ Rewards Travel Adventure card?

It's been just over 12 months since I last held an ANZ QFF card.

Yup those cards are independent of each other from a bonus perspective. You may get push back (I did on one) but the T&Cs support you, just ask for an apology bonus!

How long does it usually take for the 75,000 bonus points to appear?
I've spent $3700 in my first month and received 3700 points in my Qantas account, but no 75,000 yet.
Do I have to wait the full 3 months before getting the bonus points?

Mine posted on the following statement cycle.

I applied under the previous promo which was 60 days, and had to wait that whole period.

Apologies if this has been answered in the thread already....

Does a points and pay YASA purchased on the card qualify as the return flight required for 75 SC's?

If not does 2 single bookings qualify as a return?

Thanks in advance

Also has anyone had the 75 SC credit yet? How long did it take to credit? T&C's say up to 10 weeks :(
I need the 75 SC's to re-qualify for WP.....

Cancelled my card today. Held the card for about 4 months. Happy to wait out 12 months to get this offer again.

I have a $50 DSC QF voucher I want to use - does anyone see any reason that this would void the requirements to gain the bonus 75 SC's
My concern is that the flight purchase date may come up as when I purchased the voucher - so not considered new

It might be a stupid question, but how is this calculated? Is it based on cancellation date or the last statement date?

I cancelled over the phone on the 10th of October last year so not sure if I can sign up again.
