Just say you apply for this new offer, get approved, activate said card and then realise you are already holding another 'ANZ Frequent Flyer Black' credit card from a year or two back .... do you think if you meet the minimum spend you'll still get the bonus points?

I'm looking at the T&C's for this card and came across "This offer applies only once per eligible customer" am I reading this right in that you can only get the offer once, so cannot get bonus again after your 12mths is up?

My wife got the 50,000 bonus points offer and cancelled 13 months ago - assume she can apply for this as a different offer? She is currently a supplement card on my ANZ black at the moment.

Not the case. You can get this offer once every 12 months as long as you open a new account each time after having cancelled your previous account 12 months before.

This was the case but now, you'd be excluded by the t&c about people currently holding a card being ineligible for the bonus.

Finally got around to cancelling today. Was offered 5k QFF points, 1 bonus point on every dollar spent for 6 months and a downgrade to a cheaper card with a $295 annual fee which made the offer somewhat less appealing.

Politely declined, I have better options available to me. It was a well scripted retention spiel however

Finally got around to cancelling today. Was offered 5k QFF points, 1 bonus point on every dollar spent for 6 months and a downgrade to a cheaper card with a $295 annual fee which made the offer somewhat less appealing.

How close were you to the next annual fee hitting? Could you have collected that 5k bonus without paying again?

Welcome to AFF! I travelled on my return flight on Monday and bonus SCs were credited into my account on Wednesday...

Hmmm, I've made two return trips with the card since qualifying and have yet to receive the SCs. Granted the first flight I booked was taken after the second booking, so maybe I have to wait for that to trigger (taken on Sunday, yet to receive the SCs) :/.

Quick question - I just hit my 3 month date and still no bonus points despite having been way over the required spend for a while. Normal 'spend' points are showing up regularly in QFF for all 3 months.

Do the bonus points sweep at the same time as the normal monthly spend?
