Awesome, how long did it take for the SCs to post?

Not sure which flight booking triggered it, but it would have been within a couple of weeks of activating the card.

I just logged into ANZ and saw that the 75k bonus points are listed. I just need them to sweep across to QFF and I'm done, thank you very much.

No. 2 statement cycles for me. Spent the min in the first month. Received the 1st statement and paid it off. 2nd statement showed the payment and the bonus points.

Mine took 2 statement cycles. Account closed today.
Around 2.5 months, maybe a tad less.

Thanks Cynicor and Mr_Orange. I met the spend within a few days. Bonus points are showing in my account but haven't yet been transferred. Not sure why it's taken the full 3 months for me.

Mine swept second cycle, and I possibly only hit min spend in second cycle as well. Pretty happy - quick approval, quick delivery, quick points. Good work ANZ. Chalk and cheese compared to HSBC...

Surely people aren't churning this card when it comes with Veloce lounge access?!

I'n churning yes. I am QFF Gold and have Virgin lounge access and PP through Amex Plat Charge.

Quick approval process & delivery, but both this and the ANZ adventures points didn't hit within the specified timeframe. I got the annual fee back on the adventures and $166 credit on the QFF black. (I had asked for 10,000 points as they were outside their terms, the consultant said he had no authority for more point but could give me $$. Apparently 10,000 points are worth or cost ANZ $166??)

Glad I've been waiting to get this card. I'll already retain WP this year. The extension of the bonus 75 SC offer to cover later flights for new applicants means that it could help with retaining WP next year.

Thanks to all reminding me to churn. I cancelled this morning after realising the 2 Amex international lounge passes are no longer valid, as I'm travelling to Europe the week after the Amex is dumped.

I jumped on this as a "new customer" in late June thinking it was expiring, and now they seem to have extended the promotion again.

Approval was a little slow, they wanted to confirm where I lived (as if what I typed in the application wasn't clear). In any case, approval went through fine.

The main thing which was a PITA was having to go into a branch with ID to activate it. Welcome to the 1960s.


Well on my way to min spend. 1:1 on Visa is decent, so I may hang onto it for the first 11 months.

Does anyone know if to earn the 75 SCs, that you need to purchase the flights using the ANZ card? I ask because most of my flights are business, booked via the corporate travel agent (company policy won't allow booking direct, with own card). The terms and conditions don't specify how the flight must be paid for, just that it needs to be taken by 30 September.

OK I recently booked some flights using corporate travel agent & corporate card (not ANZ), and the 75 bonus status credits were posted to my account 5 days after travelling.

how long does it usually take for the regular monthly points (not the 75k bonus) to hit the QFF account? I got my 1st statement over a week ago and the points havent credited yet. I'm used to other banks transferring the points within a day or 2 of the statement.
