Re: ANZ QFF Black 75,000 bonus with no annual fee 1st year -only $2500 spend 1st 3 mo

Anyone get their Qantas Club passes yet.

I had 2 passes turn up in the mail today, but they were on a letter head from St George Bank and associated with an Amplify Signature Club account which I closed in July 2015.

Either ANZ has just been taken over by St George or something has gone horribly wrong somewhere.

They are valid for 12 months

Ones that came to be today from St George bank are valid until November 2017.

I got mine a week or so ago - 4 or 5 days after I requested them. The lady on the phone did say at the time that it could take up to a few weeks though.

My Qantas Club passes arrived by registered mail about 10 days after ordering them.

Points received. Much earlier than expected:

This is just after my first billing cycle. About 5 weeks since I reached the spending threshold.

Nice. I just hit the $2.5k mark yesterday after approx 6 weeks so hopefully the bonus might hit early for me too. Next statement will be issued at the end of next week so will see what happens.

Re: ANZ QFF Black 75,000 bonus with no annual fee 1st year -only $2500 spend 1st 3 mo

I applied on 29/2. Received card and reached minimum spend by 3/3. When I logged in and tried to "view reward points", it goes to an error page to say my frequent flyer point are temporarily unable to be viewed. I called ANZ and they said it may take up to the 2nd billing cycle to see that page. And up to 3 cycles to get the bonus points.

Are most of you able to see your reward point balance from early on or it takes a few weeks to see the point balance?

Not expecting the bonus yet, but would like to visit the page.

Hi just querying what the most efficient way to cancel this card is after the points are allocated? I assume you have to close it in branch?

I always send a letter. Easier to keep a direct record of this occurring. And especially important for cards like this that have a 12 month exclusion period from reapplying.

Was able to see points right from the opening of the account. No problems in the last 8 hrs seeing my points.

I called up ANZ Concierge and ordered the passes and they arrived at home via registered mail 1 week later. Very professional.

Sorry for my lack of familiarity with these schemes - I had two questions that I could not quite work out from the answers in this thread:

1. What are eligible purchases? Are they just general expenditure (petrol, insurance premiums, groceries, travel) or is it fairly limited / restricted - I could not make sense of the ANZ website on this point;

2. Do you need to hold the card for any particular period?

1. 'Normal' purchases. All of those things you have listed. Excludes cash advances, gambling products.

2. Just until the points are transferred to your account.
