With the upcoming changes to the rewards program, is this card worth it essentially for the QFF points? I am needing a new card/s for everyday purchases (helping pay for things in conjunction with an offset acc. home loan) and do use QFF for domestic travel, but with changes to the ANZ Rewards it seems they aren't as competitive compared to other offers.

Re: ANZ QFF Black 75,000 bonus with no annual fee 1st year -only $2500 spend 1st 3 mo

I have applied for this card solely for the free QFF points. That said 1.5 points per $ on Amex spend isn't too shabby. I thought the recent changes were to anz reward cards not their FF cards?

Please can anyone tell me more about the Veloce thing?
How does it work, do you get a special Veloce card, or do you just use your credit card?

I've been to the Veloce website and it says to enter the first 6 digits of a card in order to see the lounge availability.
I want to see what my lounge options with this card are at LAX, ATL and MIA for a trip I'm taking in April.

Can anyone help please, by looking up for me the lounges and opening hours of LAX, ATL and MIA lounges?

Many thanks in advance!

Yeah sorry, the rewards for the QFF hadn't changed. For the ANZ Rewards itself mainly using these for vouchers, most people would say it would not be worth it (even if you use the QFF occasionally)?

Changes to QFF rewards?

This is a no fee for the first 12 months, with a serious number of points for a small spend, offering. I've no idea why you wouldn't be jumping all over an offer like this.

Done! Thanks for the advice. Weirdly, after signing up online the page said I would be referred but then I got an email saying I am approved and would receive a welcome pack in 2 days.

With Veloce there isn't any separate card, you just swipe the visa card to access the lounge.

However there aren't many lounges in the USA. None in LAX or ATL but there is in MIA 'Club America' lounge, open 7am til 11pm apparently. The Veloce website doesn't actually have very much info on the lounges, so you are probably better off googling it to get more details, and see if its in the right terminal etc for you.

Darn it, that's not the answer I wanted :(
Thanks so much for looking for me though, I really appreciate it!

Just as an FYI only other USA airport lounges are at JFK, Chicago ORD, Houston and Washington Dulles

Does the card allow you to bring a guest into the lounges or is it cardholder only?

I'm not sure, I am the additional cardholder on the ANZ black card, so its not my account, but with Veloce it allowed access to the lounges for the main cardholder and me the additional cardholder.

Correct that was the offer i was on. Sorry, i missed the $2500 part of the thread title. BTW I got my 75000 reward points this month too :)

Can I just ask how long it took them to post you the 75,000 points once your minimum spend was reached?

Don't forget to call the ANZ Personal Concierge on 1300 580 765 to organise your 2 x Qantas Club Lounge invitations. They wont be sent out automatically.

I applied for the card and got it after 5 days. How long does the lounge pass last for?

Re: ANZ QFF Black 75,000 bonus with no annual fee 1st year -only $2500 spend 1st 3 mo

They are valid for 12 months

Remember that you have to ring them for the passes Haplo. They should be valid for at least 12 months. So if you're keeping the card for only a few months (or at least until you get the points) you may want to delay ordering the lounge passes to extend the value of their life to you.
